I've long been a fan of Mamagoto; particularly because the Dumplings & Sushi here is a few notches above most other restaurants!

Amongst the most loved, Southeast Asian Cuisine is also exciting because it incorporates fresh to fermented & an extremely broad range of ingredients in its dishes. The expansive sourcing enables it to present a wide array of tastes & textures on the dining table. Perhaps, it's also the only cuisine that has the most dishes focusing on Umami!

Pic 1. Four Season Dimsums (Veg) in Thai Herb Sauce - While the Dimsums are delicate and slightly nutty, it's all about that fantastic sauce here. The sweet spicy sauce with a fresh citrusy burst of the lemongrass is unbelievably good!

Pic 2. Pork Siu Mai - Loved the generously Stuffed Pork Siu Mai, a milder overall taste, the good texture of the pork and the fantastic nuttiness makes this one of the best Siu Mai in town.

Pic 3. Spicy Salmon Sushi - This has to be my favourite for the day. It's evident in the pic how fresh & plump that Salmon looks. The buttery salmon melts in your mouth and the spice helps your palate with a contrasting taste not letting it get overwhelmed. Add a bit of Wasabi & Soy and you have the best Salmon Sushi in Tricity. Last I checked they did a Spicy Tuna Roll, if that's been substituted with the Salmon, it's worth it!

Pic 4. Cream Cheese Uramaki - Tried it for the Vegetarians and again was impressed with the quality of the Cheese used. Add a bit of Wasabi for the pungency and Soy for the Umami to cut through the Cheese and you'd surely get addicted!

Mamagoto has always been a remarkable dining experience & it wasn't any different this time either. However, running short on time, I could only taste a few dishes. The new menu encompasses some tremendous dishes ranging from Baos to even Asian Flavor-inspired Tacos!

Attention : HAIR & BIRD FEATHER IN FOOD

To begin with, extremely delayed and slow service. Furthermore I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to the restaurant on 24/08/2024. I was dining with family and we had ordered a couple of dishes including Chicken Bao’s and Thai Curry. First we found a human hair in the Bao and then, while eating Thai curry, I found a bird feather in the curry.

This discovery was not only unpleasant but also raised serious concerns about the hygiene and quality standards maintained in your establishment. Finding hair, followed by a feather in my meal was highly distressing and completely unacceptable.

Furthermore, on repeated requests to get the bill, the manager blatantly refused to give us the bill. And on the pretext of making us speak to his senior, fled from the scene. We had to wait for him for about 10 minutes and then returned from the restaurant on being told he won’t...

Newly opened franchise in Chandigarh at Elante mall😊This place is literally a big hit 💯 If you really like asian cuisine then you shouldn't miss out on this place as they are serving the exotic dishes with such rich flavours that you just say wow wow wow❤️ after eating anything you order from here . The food dishes which I tried were - Dumpling Veg platter , Nipon Brocolli and date salad, Garlic butter spring rolls, water chestnut spring rolls, Caterpillar Avocado Asparagus and Cucumber Roll, Banoffee Pie, Chunky Caramel Sponge Cake with Toffee Sauce 😍 I must say that whatever I tried there - was just upto the mark and no complaints ✅ Very happy with the hospitality, quality and quantity of food👌 A must visit place 👍 For more updates Follow- TasteStrikers...
