Elante Social — Restaurant in Chandigarh

Social has always been amazing. The new occupancy in Elante is quite a place. The best Cafe or Bar you can visit in Chandigarh either for a date or with friends for birthday parties. The vibe is awesome. You can either sit inside where there is a train like theme and outside where you can also get a nice view from the top. The food is tasty and must try thr Oreo Pot shake it was best. The price may be above average but the food is tasty so yeah.

Social was awesome, it's really spacious and has spaces for all moods like there is sitting space for individuals who are there for studying, then there's place for meeting, then there is couple spaces , also it has bunkers and party hall , bar is available there too 💕💜,staff was helpful, menu can be broadened more in veg section, best part for me was that they served fresh fruit juice too , I've tried various items here, also there's a beautiful place for pics , the roof area is awesome, the individual sitting spaces offer you good alone time , the friends party spaces and bunkers arena are really good. Just that the music was toooooooo loud , we had a meet and that was a huge setback the music is sometimes the problem because you can't hear what others are saying but all in all I'll rate it a 9/5 for ambience, food and bar . My friends and I were excited to try Social elante after hearing some buzz about it, but unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish. While the restaurant's decor is pleasant, the fundamentals of a good dining experience—warm food and attentive service—were completely missing. ​The most significant issue was the service. From the moment we were seated, we felt like an inconvenience. It took nearly 30 minutes to take order properly Throughout the meal, our server was disinterested and difficult to find. There was no warmth or hospitality, which soured the entire evening. ​When our main courses finally arrived, they were lukewarm at best. I ordered the Thai, and it was clear it had been sitting out for some time before being brought to our table. The center was cold, and the sauce had started to congeal. My friend's faced the same issue. Hot food is a basic expectation when dining out, and the kitchen failed to deliver on this simple front. ​Overall, the combination of poor, inattentive service and cold food made for a truly regrettable experience. I recently visited Social at Elante with a group of friends, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. We ordered 3–4 items, but none of them were up to the mark — the food was completely bland and tasteless. Coming from such a reputed brand, this was truly unexpected. It felt like there's some cost-cutting going on in terms of food quality or ingredients.

What made it worse was the slow service. It felt like the staff wasn’t really concerned about customer satisfaction. We had ordered the Bombay Sandwich, and I genuinely thought the dish might have changed because it looked and tasted so different. When I asked the waiter about it, he responded in a very rude and dismissive manner, which was extremely unprofessional. I don’t want to put anyone’s job at risk, but someone working in the service industry should know how to communicate respectfully with customers.
