McDonald's — Restaurant in Chandigarh

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern about my recent visit to your [outlet on 11june 2025 Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience that made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. I noticed an individual who appeared to be intoxicated and was causing a disturbance. Despite the clear signage indicating that drunk individuals are not allowed, the staff and security personnel failed to take any action. When I brought this to their attention, I was surprisingly asked not to take any further action, citing concerns about their reputation. And the manager said they are regular,they said we can't do anything .As a woman, I felt unsafe and uncomfortable in what is supposed to be a family-friendly environment. The manager's response was particularly alarming, as they seemed more concerned about appeasing the intoxicated individual rather than ensuring the safety and well-being of other customers. When I threatened to call the police, the attitude of the staff changed, and they became more polite. However, this experience has left a lasting impression, and I am compelled to share it with you. I complaint that individual to the police .I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and take necessary steps to ensure that your customers feel safe and respected in your restaurants. July 2019: Review update after 3 years from 5 stars to 1 star (the previous review is at the end of this)-

It has been closed for a long time and we really missed it as we used to love it. We were so excited to see it open again and had to visit it. I couldn't have been more disappointed and it couldn't have been worse.

Menu - the new menu design behind the counter is horrible. It just has huge food items (burgers, cold drinks, fries etc.) all over the screen but the actual names and prices which you need to see to place an order are in a font which you generally see as part of terms and conditions. So to say, barely visible. Whoever designed it, couldn't have done a worse job, or maybe they were not paid so they did this.

Food - All food prices of gone up and the tastes have hit rock bottom. The mc veggie is tasteless and bland, even a street hawker makes it better burger than this. There was 1 dot in the name of mayonese, and barely any veggies. It was 'bad' as compared to the earlier mc veggie which not only tasted better but was 20/- cheaper too!! Fries were over salty. Mc Pizza puff - now this i used to love and i dunno what they've changed or put in it, but the sauce in it now is horrible.

Overall, I'm not going there back again.

This kind of store can just survive in scarcity of similar chain, Chandigarh is one such city, undoubtedly.

The store seems to be unmonitored. Staffs are absolutely out of service training.

Counters: Rush hours like Sundays sees single counter operating, others at rest. If you query about the long queues and counters unmanned, I heard from them that we only run one counter irrespective of queue.

Service: Huge gap if at all think of any branded food chain in the industry.

Food:

Quality - unmonitored, extremely bad. Portion - Items which are locally curated, are cut in size, others they trim while plating.

Hygiene - 1/10. No one cares. You need tow wait requesting for cleaning, nobody cares.

Specific - The worst Paneer wrap you can experience. Very thin sliced paneer with hugely spices souces (unusual), if given to kid, you might need to see doctor.

Veg burger-poured with mayonnaise, spoiling other tastes beneath.
