NIK BAKER'S — Restaurant in Chandigarh

Visited this place on 17th June. Due to the Nik Baker name hype and pricing I'd great hopes of service with an Australian touch. I ordered Lemon tea cake and Vanilla latte hot coffee. Lemon cake was ok though slightly underbaked. Coffee was too sweet as if sugar has been added to it On pointing out to the person at the counter his response was impolite and no explanation was given. In general no information is available on the bakery and confectionary products whether these contain butter or oil, cake fluor or whole wheat fluor, and flavouring is natural or synthetic. I think this information is necessary. Pricing is outlandish and behaviour of managerial staff impolite if not rude. Unfortunately in India name sells not the quality of product and service. Well our Indian culture is not to question but believe what becomes a cult...

Great Ambience.We can say value for Money too, although tastes are good , still much can be done on the presentation. While with my family I ordered a veg salad and a chicken salad, the only difference was there was chicken in one, rest all ingredients were same, for both, they could have chosen some good combination ( Please Check Subway ingredients and dressings ) the pieces could had been chopped in a refined manner, while I also ordered Nacho's Veg Salad it only has Nachos and myonnise , it was difficult to any vegetables. There is not much availability of Juices. Staff though is Nice but is expected to be trained well, as they are not able to understand that if a family comes, the complete order need to come together and not...

Terrible Service! Ordered a few food items along with a hot chocolate for my child, the drink was a little too hot and we had to leave so asked for an extra cup so my child can hold the hot drink. The staff refused, said they cannot unless I purchased another drink. I offered to purchase the extra cup and they said they cannot. I asked for the manager and he said the same, claiming that they take an inventory of cups and that the staff would be charged for the extra cup. Explained numerous times that it was for a child but they didn’t care. Not the most child friendly place, especially on Christmas Eve.
