Hary 'N Lav is a cozy restaurant located alongside the Devka beach. Excellent place to chill, have drinks and watch time pass by.
Location: It's a beachside restaurant that overlooks the newly constructed Namo path and Devka beach. It's alongside several premium hotels and restaurants on the same road.
Ambience: This place has two seating options. One near the poolside with loud music, and another 'Shamiana style' seating with direct view of the beach. We chose the Seaview side.
Food: All 3 of my friends liked the food, and it's definitely a good thing because you pay a lot. We ordered Masala Papad, Chicken Manchow soup, Chicken Angara, Roti and a few drinks. All items were excellent, especially the Machow soup, which was the best I've tasted till now.
Pricing: Due to its close proximity to the sea, the menu items are overpriced by a big margin. For example, Chicken Angara costs Rs. 700, which should be around Rs. 350. A similar case with other food items too. Drinks are costly, mocktails too start from Rs. 400. Surprisingly, they offered us Rs. 1100 discount on our final bill.
Parking: There are a few parking spots within the hotel's vicinity. But all were full, so we parked outside on the streets.
We chose Hary N Lav because of its relaxed ambience. Other options either had loud music and orchestra, or were jam packed. However, we didn't regret our decision, and it was a nice end to...

He was so arrogant that as if he was our guest and we have to take his orders. Since the beginning his behaviour was weird, during each order he was commenting something, always arguing with us on each order. Also whenever we order any dish he used to pressurise us for ordering each dish together, though we went at 8:15 pm he was making us feel like the restaurant is going to close. Then the argument took a bad taste and even the manager made us feel helpless by not taking any action. Then when we asked for the bill, the bill desk guy also behaved in the same manner. He told me you have to wait for 10 minutes for the bill. Then when the argument heated up, they have offered us 35% discount on the total bill. Just want to highlight one thing to the restaurant owner that this could have been managed very easily if the staffs behaved in a different way and also small sorry or acceptance of the fact that they were unable to manage orders could have saved our evening.
Owner, please train Mr. Sanjay on how to behave with the guests, this is not only our complaint. There were two other table where the guests were complaining about...
