The fish and chips are quite nice and substantial. If you are not very hungry two People can share this.
The Lucy juice burger is nice but portion is quite large. Here again depending on appetite order accordingly.
We had ordered for fresh watermelon, celery and pomegranate juice but it had to be sent back as it lacked most ingredients.
Below outlines my further review to the food we had recently at the restaurant:
Pros:
The Pav Bhaji was excellent. It was well-prepared with a good balance of flavors. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly, and the spices were used judiciously. The dish was just the right balance of spices, just as I like it. The texture of the bhaji was coarse, which is a key characteristic of the dish. The pav, was soft and served with a generous amount of butter, which added to the overall flavor of the dish
Cons:
The hotdog sausage was not up to par. It was made from frozen sausage, which resulted in it being very dry. This was a disappointment as I was expecting a juicy and flavorful hotdog. The quality of the ingredients used in the preparation of the hotdog sausage was not satisfactory. The chef tried to explain why the hotdog was the way it was. The restaurant had mosquitos. This is a significant issue as it can make the dining experience uncomfortable and potentially hazardous. The assistant manager used HiT spray (which is technically marked as Poison) when food was on the table inside the restaurant. This is not only disrespectful to the customers but also unprofessional. It's important for the staff to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for the customers. I feel There was no proper Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for insect and pest control. This is a major issue as it shows a lack of concern for the health and comfort of the customers. It's crucial for the restaurant to have a proper SOP for pest control to ensure the safety and satisfaction of the customers.
In conclusion, while the Pav Bhaji was good, the overall dining experience was marred by the quality of the hotdog sausage, the presence of mosquitos, and the lack of proper SOP for insect and pest control. The restaurant needs to address these issues to improve the...
Read moreCafe Delhi Heights is always a pleasure to dine at. The biggest highlight of this place? The vast menu which has a wide variety of dishes - everything from burgers, pizzas and pastas to north Indian food, galouti kebabs, shakes, coffee, desserts and what not!
Of course, the wide menu is also a drawback since on average, people are often confused on what to order. I remember me myself being stuck for 10 mins just on the menu to order one thing that I'd like to eat most at the time. I would have recommended that the cafe try to minimize or limit its menu a little but I don't know how well this recommendation would be taken since this is a chain of restaurants under the "Cafe Delhi Heights" brand and not a single cafe.
The service was good but I felt it could have been better, hence one star less on the service. The servers were just toooo busy at times (not because of too many customers but because one or two wanted to gossip among themselves over actually working).
The food was not dissappointing. I had ordered two light items as I was already full after eating elsewhere just before visiting here. So I tried their galouti kebab - the galouti kebab had a little too much oil, and weren't as soft as expected (they didn't exactly melt in the mouth but they were soft enough to make for a nice experience). These were served with slices of pita bread, green chutney and sliced onions. I had also ordered the bhel chaat, which was obviously quite good, and the best part was the large quantity at a reasonable price (around 200 if I...
Read moreCafé Delhi Heights (Noida Sector 104) Management team, please teach your staff some basic soft skills of handling customers. Today afternoon I went to this restaurant with a friend and even though almost half of the seats were unoccupied the waiter asked u to take a small table which was placed in the middle of the pathway of other customers. We asked him to give us a seat at any comfortable location and we were about to be seated at a table when he interrupted stating if we sit here he will have to ask us to get up in the middle of our lunch if a larger party came at that time. We were aghast at his behaviour. We got up and left the restaurant and this waiter never bothered to ensure that we don’t leave and that he would arrange for a proper seat for us. We could have waited. The ‘I care damn’ Attitude of the staff is a big put off and we will never ever step in that restaurant again and will ensure our family and friends avoid this place too. This behaviour actually points a finger at its management team. Either the staff are underpaid and they are not motivated enough to provide a happy experience to the customers. And/or no one invested enough time and resources in training them in basic soft skills of ensuring basic customer satisfaction. I wish I could give ZERO rating to Cafe Delhi Heights at Noida sector 104. Remember that a customer will walk in to experience the staff courtesy first and food and ambience comes later. In this case you are ruining your prospective customers footfall at the...
