Out from a meeting at this popular mall, my 2 colleagues and I were simply way too hungry and decided to check out the Imly counter situated on the food court. While they do not have the full menu as that of the Delhi outlet, yet it is quite robust and has many options.
We ordered for a quite a no. of appetizers - Dahi Gol Gappa Chaat, Cheese Burst Dosa, Paneer Tikka - Imly way, Samosa Chaat, Tandoori Mushroom with a round of mocktails. The qty of the tandoori mushroom was a way bit less but quality was good. It was Barbecued to its maximum and infact stuffed with paneer Bhurji!!! The Dahi Gol Gappa was really excellent and couldn't be any better than this. The Paneer Tikka served option of Malai & regular tikka and it's taste was above average. Samosa Chaat contained of a samosa broken down in pieces with a mixed sauce of Dahi, mint & tamarind same.as that of the Raj Kachori! Cheese Burst Dosa was a total case of fusion of Italian look on a South Indian dish with an atypical Chinese masala stuffed inside the dosa. The watermelon mojito was quite outstanding for it's taste but a little bit expensive.
Being half full is never an option for us so we ordered for our main course dishes from the appetizers itself! Second round consisted of Pav Bhaji, Chole Bhature, Crispy chilly corn and a Raj Kachori! All these were almost at par with the tastes of their Rajendra place outlet only!!!
Service is quite quick!!! It's really offers the best of street food in an hygienic environment. So try it whenever you crave for Indian...
Read moreAs it's located in the food court of Mall of India, I've chosen this stunning place for my meal quite a few times. Their service is good but on weekends and sometimes on weekdays, it gets quite chaotic. All because this outlet serves delectable dishes at moderate prices.
Most of their dishes are conventional ones, but they serve some great fusion foods as well like their cheese burst dosa. Coming over to food, their gol gappe are tangy and served in an aesthetically pleasing way. Each gol gappa is put in one container of a small ferris wheel and served along with different types of spicy water. Their pao bhaji, vada pao and chole bhature are superb.
Cheese burst dosa, pizza dosa is something you might have not tasted before. But here they make a great meal out of it. There are 4 rolls of dosa lined up vertically and then topped with lots of molten cheese. The flavours of dosa and cheese complement each other well. I highly recommend it.
Even their Chilly potatoes are good, loaded with garlic. I really like them here. I have had their beverages as well, aam panna, shikanji etc. But I feel they are a little on the expensive side according to their quantity.
I am looking forward to trying out other...
Read moreOur experience with Imli in DLF hasn’t been a good one even once. Today, we ordered Chhole Bhature. Firstly the quantity of chhole is never sufficient as per the size of the bhature although they did give us some extra when we asked for them They took 15 minutes for Chhole Bhature which is a lot since this item does not take long We weren’t provided with any salad, and we didn’t ask for any as the guy on the counter had already been arguing with other customers and once with us also. Same guy argued with us the last time we visited them. This guy keeps arguing and talking rudely with the customers. Despite us standing there, he wasn’t giving our order even when asked for multiple times and was giving it to other people saying their order is ‘fresh’. Last time, the order was in front of us, we asked if it is ours, he told us it’s not and then after we waited a long time he gave us that same order. This is very disappointing with such a good chain. Never going back to...
