The Big Chill Cakery — Restaurant in Dadri

I'd been eyeing this place since quite a while, but every time, I've been able to convince myself that I definitely do not need any more calories :p Today, I finally lost this long standing internal battle :D We ordered the Chocolate fudge cake, mushroom tart and the iced tea. The only thing that was just the way it should be, was the iced tea, unfortunately. The tart case was not made of short crust like it should, but was made of the soft, patty covering that you would typically find on your Aloo patty you buy from the office tuck shop. The filling though, was yummy. The Chocolate fudge was actually the strangest one. It's tough to go wrong with chocolate fudge, but these guys have. I think they mixed it with Peanut butter or something similar, because it tasted very strongly of peanut butter (which I'm not a fan of). Also, the icing was not as chocolaty as one would expect chocolate fudge to be - it reminded me very much of the horrible, cheap-icing loaded cakes you get at shady bakeries. When I informed the server, he tried to convince me that what I was tasting was butter and not peanut butter, and that maybe I didn't know the difference between the two flavors. Lol. So why have I treated these guys so highly? Because these guys made up for the experience I had. They willingly replaced the 'chocolate fudge'. I replaced it with the Summer Bavarian thingy and also bought the raspberry chocolate brownie and a banana leaf. All three were excellent. And of course, the boxes they were packed in, were adorable :) So, overall, I figure, mistakes do happen. What's important is how you try to improve the customer's experience. They've done that :) In short, Ambience - Very nice Service - good Customer service - good Food - Decent (beware of the tart and the 'chocolate fudge though!) Will I go back? - probably, but will order more carefully VFM? - Not really. At more than 300 bucks per slice of cake, this place is expensive. But, once in a while indulgence is...

Big chill is a gem that is actually loved by all. The dishes they serve, the quantity, taste, beautiful plates, ambience and the overall feel, they've mastered everything. They now have a good number outlets across Delhi - Ncr and that number will only increase in the future. The best part about big chill is the consistency in tasty and feel across all their outlets. You may eat at a different outlet, but the taste will stay the same, also their huge menu is a great example on how to serve a number of dishes, and how to make all of them lip smacking. Just recently, i visited this outlet and had a great time. For the food we had:

Chicken ravioli in cheese sauce - Stuffed chicken in perfectly cooked ravioli, cooked with cheese sauce for a taste above all. This dish is for everyone that appreciate, soft and cheesy flavours and just love pasta. Easily the best ravioli i've ever had.

Three pepper pizza - A classic thin crust veg pizza, with bell peppers and olives on top, as simple as it was, the taste was just as comforting, finger lickin good, with the goodness of cheese in every bite. The olives too get together for a bit of a flavour ride. Perfect thin crust.

Belgian chocolate shake - My all time favorite and something that i always order when i visit big chill, this shake is a must must have. You cannot miss it, when you're at big chill. The thick shake, amazing chocolate wonderland you can say.

Just like all their other outlets, this one too has the same ambience, interiors and feel, and without a doubt is a great one. When you're in noida, and crave for some very good food, you need to visit this place ! Location- 3rd Floor ,DLF...
