Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop - Golden I, Greater Noida — Restaurant in Dadri

I recently visited Theobroma Bakery, expecting a premium experience, but was left utterly disappointed.

To begin with, the cakes displayed had prices that did not include GST, which felt deliberately misleading. Nowhere was it mentioned that an additional 18% GST would be added at checkout. It was only when I received the bill that I realized I was being charged significantly more than the displayed price.

But what truly infuriated me was the blatant overpricing of basic add-ons. I was charged ₹40 for a flimsy “Happy Birthday” tag and ₹30 for a small box of candles—items that are easily available in the market for ₹10 or less. This is nothing short of an exploitative pricing strategy, preying on unsuspecting customers who just want to celebrate a special occasion.

For a brand that prides itself on quality and customer experience, this level of hidden charges and unjustified markups is unacceptable. It’s frustrating to see such practices from a reputed bakery like Theobroma, and it certainly makes me reconsider ever...

The name is just a name.. a sham actually. Theobrama is a brand which spoils the birthday party by delivering a messed up cake and they do not have the courtesy to refund the amount even after 7 days. I placed an order for my daughter's bday. The cake was priced 25%-30% more than the other brands. The cake was kept in the refrigerator the moment it was delivered. When the moment came to cut the cake, box was opened and the cake had slid to one side... all trash. Bakwaas. Now, they took back the cake the very same day. Its been more than 7 days now but they did not bother to refund the amount too. Which bank/company takes so much time in refund? It hardly takes a minute to refund.. if actually you want to... But "chindipan" kaise...

Visiting this bakery for a while now and always been blown away by the delicious cakes and pastries they offer. The quality of their treats is exceptional, and each bite is a burst of flavor. The ambiance of the bakery is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for indulging in some sweet delights. The staff members are friendly and helpful, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone with a sweet tooth looking for top-notch treats. A must-visit!
