Read moreThe good part of this sweet shop is that it has indoor seating with at least 10 tables where your order will be served. So, you don't have to stand at the chaat stall outside and eat. You can take a table inside and place your order.
In terms of the food, the chaat and the sweets were both very average in taste and quality, except for the Petha. The Paapdi in the chaat was too hard and the Dahi Bhallas were not very tasty either. The Tikkis in the Aaloo Tikki chaat were very crisp, but average in taste. The quality and taste of chaat in Haldiram's is much better.
I am compelled to make a special mention of the Kesar Petha, though. It was great, one of the best I have had! It had just the right amount of sugar and syrup, and was delightfully fresh and crunchy! The Ras Gulla, on the other hand, was a bit of a disappointment, because it wasn't as soft as expected and the syrup was a tad too sweet. Overall an average experience, but it is worthwhile going there...
