Ballimaran Nahari — Restaurant in Delhi

An A.C. seating room is available where prices for each dish is more by 20Rs. Normal seating area has 2 coolers and plenty of ceiling fans. They start serving Nihari from 6pm and serve normal curries from 1pm.

I arrived at 8pm. Ample seating space was present. I ordered 120Rs Sada Nihari with 3 10Rs Tandoori Rotis. Service was very quick. Rotis were garnished with Coriander leaves and Cardamom seeds. Nihari was well cooked, had tender meat, was adequately spicy, and had amazing flavours of strong Indian spices. 1st time gravy refill is free, 2nd time takes 30Rs. Quantity was more than enough for one person.

Imo, on par with Javed Nihari from Zakir Nagar although Javed Nihari had a little tough meat and was more spicy than Ballimaran when I last tried it.

Belive me if you are nihari and paya lover, then this is the best place. I ordered the quarter nihari and paya with naan, ohoo just loved it, the garnish they give, that longitudinal thin pieces of ginger and meshed green chillies with lemon that's the add on on that delicious dish (as I shared some of the pics so that one can sense the dish ; (this place is only for dinner as the restaurant opens after 7 pm everyday. There is separate section for family so that one can enjoy the meal at it's best. The dishes are value for money and the meal is reasonable and best. Restrooms are NOT available. Only Wash basin for hand wash. Reasonable price. Sada Nahari for ₹100. Mutton nahari for ₹210. Naan (roti) for ₹8.
