Let me share both good point and bad points.

One of the duty managers, Upendra is very helpful and goes beyond the call of duty to support your needs. Last month there was a religious function at my place for which I wanted food to be packed and sent within a certain time frame to my home. He arranged that. Also for distribution post the function, I needed packets to be assembled in a particular manner. Most sweet shops declined and so did other duty managers at this outlet. But Upendra supported me. Please note, this was the time during the Covid restrictions where only home deliveries were allowed.

The bad thing, the quality and ingredients are getting deteriorated by the month. I have time and again complained that the Bengali sweet "Cheena Sandesh" must contain "Cheena" which is like raw paneer hand grinded or mashed. But at this outlet and others, they simply use "Khoya" in "Cheena Sandesh". Khoya as you all are aware is dried up and solidified milk. The taste becomes awful when they do it. After repeated complaints they stopped doing it for a while. But today I went and ordered the same dish of Cheena Sandesh. Not only it again has a substantial adulteration of Khoya, but then the Khoya itself is of poor quality. Must be pretty old as it has become granular. For those not familiar with this dish, making Cheena is time and labor intensive so they simply cut corner and use Khoya to reduce cost and effort.

"Tanatan Dhokla" is supposed to Dhokla fried and seasoned with some spices. In this outlet they simply put loads of Tomato ketchup on the dhokla and serve it as Tanatan (fried) Dhokla. This was the worst experience.

Not sure of what is the big deal of making a fuss of adding a few chutney packs with a kilo pack of Dhokla, they do it at all other outlets and Haldiram and other. This outlet has a lot of trouble doing that.

Overall, the outlet is satisfactory, but these points are increasingly becoming a concern. I am certainly never going to purchase Cheena Sandesh in future. But if the deterioration continues then I may to discontinue...

So, I have visited the outlet earlier too , the fact that they are more attentive and service standards have improved ...shows that some effort is being put . Unfortunately ,yesterday a big plastic sharp edge of a container was found in my mutter kulcha Luckily ,I was chewing on hard and something sharp pierced my gum . I immediately took the piece and went to the floor manager Dhruv who was courteous and apologetical . I went to show him the piece to get it inspected , NOW what pissed me off was that he had the piece thrown as soon as I showed it to him like he was trying to hide it from me committing any commotion which I wasn't going to and I told him that I gave it to you to verify . I asked for the piece back and he said "that’s in the bin and can’t be located but I’m sorry for the experience" . I told him that I didn’t need it for some freebies or social media rant , the only reason was to get it inspected and come back to me with a response . I told him it’s not his fault but yes as a representative of a renowned brand he should owe up to the mistake and at least pull up the personnel responsible as it could very well have been fatal had I ingested it . Can’t post the pic of the sharp piece now but yes very carelessly handled by an inexperienced staff I must say . The senior manager didn’t even bother to attend as he was busy on the phone outside the premises . This is a feed back for the staff and management at BIKANERVALA . There are lot of other options present in the vicinity and this was the last I visited you . Haldirams is just 100 ft away ..so you guys at least attend to what your customers saying and are facing if they have issues at all . Anyways you guys are short of...

This place is like the biggest fallout in the bikanerwala portfolio. I went there with my family for breakfast and having had breakfast at the Gurgaon sector 29 branch, I was sure it would be a good experience, but it turned out to be the opposite. The place is highly inefficient, they do not have a lot of people but the service is abysmal. They have to be reminded multiple times for your order as they would always forget. Having had the breakfast menu I expected the same from all branches but they conveniently underserved and had removed some add-ons conveniently (chips and coleslaw from Sandwich and Butter from lassi, Chole from puri). When I pointed out the same, the response made us understand the low interest they have in standards "This is a company owned store and other are a franchise, what we serve is the right recipe", further they claimed that Gurgaon does not serve the breakfast menu and you are making a false claim, which we have a had just a day before. After I told them to call and confirm they commented: "that if we start giving you all this, what will we earn". Even when I said that this is not a right way to service, their reaction was " we don't care". I would suggest visiting a proper 'franchise' and refrain from this mess...
