What a disastrous experience at this Third wave coffee outlet at Netaji Subash Place. I asked for recommendations and the highly untrained staff had nothing to say. I ordered a large mocha chip frappuccino and one Mexican Paneer Sandwich. The Mexican Paneer Sandwich had nothing Mexican in it and Mocca frappucino had zero espresso shots in it. It was a cheaply made chocolate shake. There was not an ml of coffee used in it. The Mexican Paneer Sandwich had extremely dry tandoori paneer in it with laughable amount of other ingredients, bone dry and tasteless.
I complained to the staff who was so incompetent and untrained that they mentioned I should try focaccia paneer sandwich instead and served me the exact same Mexican sandwich in a different bread. Exact same ingredients inside, bone dry and belonged to the dustbin.
Spoke to Vikas and Bharat at length about my experience and after an apology, they served pesto paneer sandwich where pesto meant green mint chutney and not real pesto which is supposed to be made from basil, pine nuts and olive oil. All other ingredients were exactly the same as 2 sandwiches before. If a vegetarian family orders 3 of their sandwiches, all with different menu names, they are going to get the exact same stuff with diffirent pricing.
The most frustrating part was how the manager told that the staff is untrained and they are hired right after 12th grade and they learn on the job, they don't receive any proper training to be a barista before joining third wave. So all of us are essentially paying this particular NSP outlet to get trash food while their staff learns on the job?
The frappe didn't have espresso shots, the Mexican sandwich didn't have a single Mexican ingredient and focaccia paneer sandwich had a tongue cutting dry foccacia? Do they even know foccacia is supposed to be drenched in olive oil and is a heavy oily bread?
Extremely overpriced street side food and shake in the name of New Wave barista. There is obviously stealing of ingredients by the staff because other Third wave coffee outlets don't serve coffee and food with missing key ingredients and their breads aren't so stale like they were made a week ago without any oil.
I'm shocked at how I spent US prices over coffee and food at a coffee shop and got work than roadside experience here. For reference, a Java Chip in STARBUCKS in US is $5 (400 INR) And I paid INR 365 here for a cheaply made shake at a much lower quality chain in a much lower quality rental space.
Never returning and strongly recommend everyone to AVOID this outlet like plague. The staff here doesn't greet, doesn't smile and is often busy on their phone to even look at customers waiting to talk to them. The Connaught place and Saket one are...

Read moreI have made 3 visits to the cafe till date and experienced the following : Food menu and quality is better and well priced than other cafes. Quality of hot coffee is below standards, I did not find suitable milk ratio in latte, it was relatively watery, I would not recommend Faced bad managerial experience in my every visit
3.1 1st visit - Manager promised internet will be available in few mins, requested me to place order, meanwhile, but even after 2 hours I spent there, there was no internet 3.2 2nd visit - Manager told me internet technician is working on improving speed (at least there was internet facility, great), requested me to place order, meanwhile, like before no improvement even after 3 hours I spent there 3.3 3rd visit - I was working on my laptop with some order placed, Manager requested me to empty the table as foot traffic was increasing but he did not requested other (1 female and 1 male) who were working there too with more time spent there than me
I would suggest being truthful (like in case of internet) and practicing fairness is much appreciated.
P.S. - A common table/side table for accommodating 1-2 guest(s) like in starbucks NSP, etc. would optimise the...
