Had a very bad experience in food quality and service. I ordered a meal. The girl at the counter said I could get "a soft drink, coffee, hot or cold". I opted for a hot coffee. Her cash register said Rs 140 (for the meal) and Rs 50 approx for the hot coffee. So BurgerKing will make you pay for another beverage if you don't opt for their soft drink (as part of their meal). I tried to explain that I am replacing the soft drink with the hot coffee, but she kept saying the hot coffee is for Rs. xyz. She even went onto to explain that the coffee is more costly than the soft drink and thats why I have to pay for it. Even if it costed more, BurgerKing should charge me for the difference amount between the 2 beverages, not the full amount of the coffee. Finally when she understood that she was charging me for 2 beverages, she was unwilling to make any adjustment let alone try to find an amicable solution. All she ended up saying was that if I want coffee, I would have to pay extra, i.e. the full amount. Frustrated with her lack of understanding, I let it go thinking my food would taste good and put me in a good mood. I was so wrong!! Their Veggie Supreme burger was horrible. The veg patty was soggy, the sauce was horribly spiced with a dry bun, the fries were thick, fat and oily; and their coke was flat, like dead! I could've made sugar water at home with coke flavour in it and it would have tasted better! On top of it all, they forgot that I requested for a take-away and their staff were more than happy to just give me my tray of food so I would get lost from their cash counter.
