We visited Chawla’s Tandoori Junction in Karkardooma with high expectations, especially since they have a live kitchen outside. However, our experience was far from pleasant.

The food quality was extremely disappointing—the items served were stale and frozen, despite the presence of a live kitchen. When we inquired, the staff admitted that the food wasn’t freshly prepared but had come from their main kitchen. The chicken platter we ordered had stale chicken, excessively coated with cream, seemingly to mask the poor quality. The fish tikka was even worse—stale, foul-smelling, and completely inedible.

To make matters worse, the staff was unresponsive and dismissive of our feedback. The hygiene standards were appalling—the table next to us was left filthy for over 15 minutes, with leftover bones scattered around, creating a very unappealing sight.

We were so disappointed that we dropped the idea of ordering the main course and left unhappy and unsatisfied. What made it even more upsetting was that this was meant to be a special dinner for our parents’ 49th wedding anniversary, but instead, it completely ruined the mood.
