I have been to Echoes , Satyaniketan and i had a exhilarating experience there and to be honest, I had an even better experience when i visited this place around 2-3 days ago. Ambiance, services, staff and food everything was perfect and up to the mark. Eye catchy decor, kind staff, pocket friendly yet one of the best food in Hudson lane are the attributes of this place.
Echoes, Hudson Lane was in my bucket list from quite and i finally visited this place with 6 of my friends.
2)Service: This place has a very unique concept of service by differently abled people. It is a great initiative. The staff was courteous and the service too was prompt. The procedure of ordering is basically that each dish in menu has been assigned a code. So, they give you a booklet in which you write the code of the respective dish. This place is family friendly too.
3)Food: The food at echoes was simply one of the best and drooling. We tried a lot of things there but the dishes like red velvet shake, chocochip waffle with ice cream, chicken tikka, veg seekh kabab and their kitkat shake had our taste buds craving for more.
Veg Seekh Kabab: This is one of the best veg seekh kabab i have ever had in my life. A sprinkle of coriander, smokiness and the tangy green chutney's combo was a winner. They serve with onion rings and rumali roti.
Chicken Tikka: This dish of chicken was roasted up to perfection and was very well marinated and had a great balance of spices and flavors. They were total six pieces of boneless chicken ( 3 of malai chicken tikka while 3 of masala chicken tikka). this dish was too served with onion rings, rumali roti and green chutney.
Red Velvet Shake: One of the most flavorsome shake I've ever had. The thickness, sweetness and composition was just so perfect. Bits and small pieces of red velvet were added in the shake which made it even more delicious. totally loved it!
Spring rolls: The spring rolls were good but their fillings could have been better. However, the red chili sauce made up for it.
Veg Manchurian (Gravy): The Manchurian balls were just average. Their outer layer was just too hard. It should have been softer. However, Its gravy was very delicious.
Choco Chip waffle with Ice cream: The taste of the waffle was absolute bliss. Also, they serve 2 quarters of waffle while other places serve a quarter at the same price.
Farmhouse Pizza: The pizza had a thin crust and was just above par. The toppings had red, green bell peppers, jalapeno and baby corns.
Waffle with ice cream: There was nothing special about this waffle. I'd prefer you to order a waffle which has some toppings instead of normal one.
These were the dishes which i didn't try but my friends ordered.
Ferrero Rocher Shake:
White Sauce Pasta:
Virgin Mojito:
Nachoz Pizza:
Oreo Shake:
KitKat Shake:
The quantity & quality of the food was perfect. The prices of the dishes were also easy on the pocket. They served us really well and had a wonderful dine-in...

Hey there, food enthusiasts and compassionate souls! πββοΈ I recently had the privilege of dining at Echoes Living Room (ΰ€ΰ€ΰ₯ΰ€Έ ΰ€Ήΰ€‘ΰ€Έΰ€¨ ΰ€²ΰ₯ΰ€¨) with my friend, and let me tell you, it was an experience that touched my heart in more ways than one. π
First things first, getting to the cafe is a bit of a mini-adventure. π° It's nestled on the first floor, and the only way up is by climbing a set of stairs. πͺ But trust me, the effort is totally worth it! πͺ
As we stepped inside, we were greeted by a cozy and intimate setting. π The place may be small in size, but it's big on ambiance and tranquility. ποΈ The peaceful vibes instantly put us at ease. π
Now, here's where the magic happens. πͺ When our waiter arrived to take our order, he communicated entirely through signs and gestures. π€ Not a single word was spoken. π€ That's when my friend revealed the beautiful secret behind Echoes Living Room β they exclusively hire speech and hearing-impaired staff. πβ It was a revelation that filled my heart with warmth and admiration. π
The menu boasts a curated selection of dishes, and we decided to go with the Echoes Creme Pasta and Living Room Masala Tandoor Momos. ππ₯ We jotted down our choices on a piece of paper and pressed a hanging switch to summon our waiter. ππ It was a unique and interactive way to place our order. π
Within a mere 10 minutes, our food arrived, and let me tell you, the pasta was a creamy dream come true! π The flavors danced on my tongue, leaving me craving more. π The momos, while not particularly memorable, were still a decent accompaniment to our meal. π₯π
But the real star of the show? The music and the ambiance. πΆβ¨ They created a soothing backdrop that elevated our dining experience to new heights. π
Now, let's address the elephant in the room β the bill. ππΈ At around 750 rupees, it might seem a bit steep for some. π° But fear not, my savvy friends! We used Swiggy Dineout and scored a fantastic 20% discount. π It's like getting a virtual pat on the back from the food gods themselves. π
In the end, my experience at Echoes Living Room left an indelible mark on my heart. π The inclusive staff, the serene ambiance, and the delightful pasta made it a visit I'll cherish forever. π My only regret? Not arriving with a bigger appetite to fully appreciate their culinary offerings. π½οΈπ
So, if you're looking for a dining experience that combines great food with a heartwarming purpose, Echoes Living Room is the place to be! ππ Just remember to bring your compassion, your appetite, and your willingness to embrace a beautiful way of communication. ππ€
Until next time, keep exploring, keep dining, and keep supporting initiatives that make the world a more inclusive...
Β Β Β Read moreEchoes is one chain which I love for 2 main reasons first one obviously their food and secondly the entire management by physically challenged people who cannot hear or speak but our at your service on any instant .
Just to brief you for people who doesn't know about it , each table has a hanging switch which lights a bulb and a guy will be at your assistance. They give you a note pad to place an order and each dish in the menu is coded so you write those codes and that's it. Also, they have kept a desk calendar sort thing which have some typical statements like , please get the menu , call the manager , thank you etc to convey your message to them.
Now coming to the food, we ordered veg platter , fiery chicken , tandoori momos , pomodoro and smoked cheese pasta followed by chur chur naan with dal makhani & shahi paneer , please check the menu for their exact names they are really cool!!
The veg platter had decent variety from paneer tikka, tandoori momos , tandoori mushrooms , malai chaap, tandoori chaap and seekh kebab. I personally loved the malai chaap and seekh kebab. The tandoori momos were delicious as well a little spicy so do let them know your preferences before. Pasta was very well prepared and since it was a smoked cheese pasta , so they serve it and put it on fire for a smokey flavour and just like that fiery chicken is also served on fire . Do check out the pictures .
Finally the chur chur naan thaali , the dal was perfect , shahi paneer was sweet for us but the naan was awesome but very high on spice and the same is mentioned in their menu as well so let them know before hand in case you have a spice preference.
Overall the food is very delicious and decently priced.
For the drinks we had the snicker shake , chocolate shake and strawberry lemonade . Full Marks to snicker shake and for the dessert we had the hot chocolate fudge which had loads of molten chocolate and roasted cashews on vanilla ice cream an ultimate preparation .
It's a must visit place if you are around, do visit and let me know your experience.
Cheers
