Disappointing Experience Despite Pre-booking â Wouldnât Recommend for South Indian Cuisine
I had pre-booked a table through Dineout after going through the restaurantâs menu, specifically for their South Indian offerings. However, to our surprise, upon reaching the restaurant, we were told by the staff that South Indian food was not available â even though it was clearly listed on the menu.
What made the experience worse was that other guests â families and couples â also came in with the same expectations and were similarly disappointed. The staff refused to serve the items without any apology or sense of accountability. Late at night, with family, finding another place to dine wasnât feasible, so we were left with no option but to order something we didnât initially want.
Another letdown â they consider onion (sirke wali pyaaz) as chargeable, something thatâs generally complimentary at almost every North Indian restaurant. While it may sound minor, for anyone used to North Indian cuisine, onions and chutney are a basic expectation â and almost always provided free and unlimited.
Overall, the behavior of the staff lacked basic courtesy. Refusing to serve items present on the menu without any explanation or regret shows a lack of professionalism. Sadly, this left us and other guests with a very...

Seating & Ambience: Well planned seating arrangement though restaurant is not that spacious but the ambience was descent and soothing. Outside seating (in balcony) is also available which limit 2 guest per table.
Starters/snacks: They have limited options i.e. 4-5 items. I ordered Palak anzeer k kababs which is đ¨âđłspecial but special is missing. I also tasted 2 paneer items and Paneer tuktok has lead over the other starters.
Main course: Tasted Dal Makhani & Pashewari Paneer with Garlic Naan. Dal was good in taste and naan was soft & easy to chew with gralic granules in every bite.
Drinks: They also serve the one which leads you to seven heaven.
Salad & Chutney: Green chutney with red chilly onion is good in taste.
Service: Average
Overall experience is good because of main course and ambience.
PS: Being Hyderabadi restaurant they donât serve soya chaap and use cooper utensils.

H palate management scams customers by pre placing expensive plastic water bottles worth rs.125, 750 ml on the table without even asking from the customer about the option of regular RO water. It is deliberate attempt to surge the bill amount by keep on replenishing the plastic water bottle and add the amount in the bill. When customer raise and call out this issue Manager responds that's the part of the conspiracy to loot money to pay the rent i.e. 4lakh and salaries of the staff. It's unfair if one table consumes 4 bottles of water they gonna end up paying rs. 500 which should be free. Manager is so disrespectful and said go to consumer courtbor anywhere we don't care. We keep on practicing this unfair policy. I urge people not to visit this restaurant and I am registering a complaint against H palate in...
