Visited Haldiram’s for breakfast and ordered Chole Bhature. Being a Sunday morning, the place was understandably crowded and we waited about 15 minutes for our order which was fine.

However, the overall experience was disappointing for a brand of this scale. First, the sabzi (chole) was served in a very small quantity, and they mentioned it could be taken only once. Another customer was also arguing about the same, saying if we can’t refill, at least give enough in the first place to enjoy the meal comfortably.

When my turn came, I asked for chutney along with some salad, and I was told to go to another counter. It made no sense, onion here, chutney there, do we really need to move around from counter to counter in a rush just to complete one plate?
