I will rate their Japani samosa 4/5. In 40 rupees, you get 2 Japani samosa + Chole + green chutney. The Japani samosa is like a patty with potato filling. The filling is also good and you can feel the weight of it when you pick Japani Samosa. Chola are mild with spices but quite tasty. Somehow, in the youtube videos I saw, they showed filling in the Japani samosa to be less but when I ate at shop, the filling is really good in them. I will recommend this place and I will visit them again. I have attached their menu card, what else they offer. Not sure about their taste though. Seating space is outside with about 6-7 chairs only.

Taste – 5/5 Portions – 5/5 Service – 5/5 Value for money – 5/5 Serving the famous japani samosa in old delhi since 1949, this place is located in chandni chowk. People like almost everything that they serve but their japani samosa is the most unique dish on their entire menu. These look very different from our regular samosa, they are known to have around 60 layers to them which makes them so much more crispy and the centre is soft and filled with the samosa filling. They are served with chole and mint chutney. Absolutely delectable and caters to all your chatpata cravings. Absolute must have on your next visit to old delhi.

Very ordinary place and taste of the food was also below average. I feel this place is overhyped for Japanese samosa . It is nothing extraordinary simple samosa in a paties form served with chole. We tried the Japanese samosa and a normal samosa but noticed nothing extraordinary which crates a hype for the place. The area is also not very hygienic. It's the hype which draws most of the people same as me. The shop is situated in overcrowded Chadni chowk. Also the attitude of the service provider was not friendly. So only visit the place if this is in your bucket list. I was highly disappointed with the taste of the food and the over hype created for the place.

I visited this place in college days that day I tried Chole Bhature and I again visited this place yesterday, again I tried chole bhature. Chole Bhature are very tasty especially chole and at reasonable price you can surely try that. Last time I did not feel like eating Japani Samosa and this time it's stock was over. Yes when I visited there around 6:00 PM except Chole Bhature all other items were sold. Note:- Bhature were made earlier they get it fried again as per order, You will feel strong taste of Ajinomote MSG in Chole.

The chola served with the samosa was the highlight of the whole chandni chowk trip. Keep in mind the mammoth names Chandni chowk has in terms of food greats. The samosas were tasty no doubt. A bit too oily for a puff pastry type samosa but the chole will just satisfy your soul. The only drawback, which is commonality for the whole of chandni chowk is the ambience. If you’re okay blocking out all that this will be the best ₹40 you ever spend on Food taste-wise.

It's a little outside sitting but if you are Chhole Bhature lover. This is the place for you. The consistency of the chhole is just so good, perfect color perfect taste. My suggestion is to pick Bhatoore yourself, as sometimes they give the very thin ones which are a bit too oily. So if you pick yourself your can get a fluffy one rather than cruchy oily layered one. It cost ₹60 for Chhole Bhature.
