Jung Bahadur Kachori Wala – A Hidden Gem in Chandni Chowk 🌟 Tucked away in the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, Jung Bahadur Kachori Wala is a humble shop that offers a burst of flavor with its delicious kachoris. Despite being a small, unassuming eatery, this place has built a strong reputation for serving some of the city’s best kachoris, making it a must-visit for food lovers. 🏙️ The kachoris here are known for their perfect texture – crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with a variety of mouthwatering fillings. Whether you opt for the classic potato and pea filling or more adventurous options like onion (pyaaz) or dal, each kachori is a flavorful treat. 😋 What sets Jung Bahadur Kachori Wala apart is the family legacy behind it. I had dum aloo kachori worth 20 rupees for half plate. It was having red chillies sprinkled. I found it to be having an extra amount of chilli, the asafoetida (heeng) was pinching that I liked. It also had potato slices and sprinkled coriander. I found nothing special about their kachori. I think I need to give another try to them, Considering the recognition that they have received for their kachoris. A guide was there who had foreigners from various western countries. I found they were having a tough time eating this chilly and spicy kachori. They couldn't eat much and had to throw it away. Update: On the advice of Khemchand Daulat ki chaat I came here for their exotic chutney, which he told people generally ask for more in their kachori subzi, due to its authentic and mouth watering taste. I asked the owner what they add in their chutney and he told me about the amchoor powder, and kachaloo, which I knew from the very first time I had it (but I wasn't sure). The kachori had sounf and various other ingredients. It's price would be cheap but its taste is at par with its price. I loved eating at Jung Bahadur Kachori wala this time. I would recommend everyone to have this experience. Forget what foreigners did, as mentioned above. We and foreigners don't share the same taste palette and cuisine.

Jang Bahadur Kachori Wala is a beloved and well-established eatery, especially popular among street food enthusiasts in Northern India. Known for its rich history, this humble shop has carved a niche in the hearts of locals and travelers alike with its delicious, authentic offerings. Located in the bustling streets, Jang Bahadur Kachori Wala is usually easy to spot due to the long queues of people eager to get a taste of their famous kachoris.

The star of their menu is, without a doubt, the Kachori—a deep-fried, flaky pastry filled with a spicy, aromatic mixture of lentils and spices. Each kachori is freshly prepared, ensuring a crispy exterior that complements the flavorful filling. Served with tangy, spicy aloo (potato) sabzi, the kachori experience is elevated, hitting all the right notes for anyone craving a savory and spicy snack. The food is simple but bold in flavor, a testament to traditional Indian street food done right.

One of the notable things about Jang Bahadur Kachori Wala is their consistency; despite high demand, they maintain the quality and taste that have defined them for decades. The place is often crowded, especially during breakfast hours and weekends, but the quick service ensures that the wait is never too long.

However, the shop’s ambiance is very minimalistic and may not appeal to those seeking a more comfortable dining environment. It's more of a grab-and-go spot rather than a sit-down establishment, as space is limited. For those who don’t mind eating amidst the hustle of the street, this is a perfect spot to experience authentic, local flavors. All in all, Jang Bahadur Kachori Wala is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates North Indian street food and is looking for a nostalgic,...
