â 1 out of 5 | Absolutely Disappointing Experience â Stale and Inedible Biryani
I placed a takeaway order yesterday for a full biryani after personally visiting the store. The staff member at the counter specifically asked the kitchen staff if biryani was available, and it was confirmed. I then waited around 15â20 minutes for the order to be prepared and handed over.
To my utter disappointment, the experience completely fell apart once I got home. The moment we opened the package, there was a strong off-putting smell. Hoping it was just a fluke, we still tried tasting it, but it was clear something was wrong. The rice was stale, slimy, and sticky, classic signs of food thatâs been sitting out far too long, possibly reheated from a previous day. This was not fresh by any standard.
Serving food in this condition isnât just unprofessional, itâs unacceptable and potentially unsafe. We couldnât eat it and had to throw the whole thing away. Itâs extremely frustrating to waste both time and money like this, especially when we were assured of the dishâs availability and freshness.
Please take this feedback seriously. At the very least, staff should verify the quality of food being served, especially when customers are made to wait and are placing trust in your kitchen. I wonât be returning unless significant...

However, we soon found that there were some staff members gathered there, possibly celebrating a birthday or anniversary, as there was a cake present.
A senior staff member then told us to move downstairs and order ourselves, as the person who takes orders was unavailable that day. This was communicated in a very unprofessional manner. There was also confusion among the staff, with one telling us to stay and another insisting we move downstairs, which was quite frustrating.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was playing loud, outdated patriotic songs, which was extremely irritating. Despite requesting that the volume be lowered, nothing was done to address the issue.
My friend had recommended trying Nazeer for the first time, so I decided to stay and ordered chicken burgers. Unfortunately, the poor environment and staff behavior had already spoiled my mood. The burgers were disappointing as wellâtoo oily, with the wrap drenched in oil.
