First of all, this is not an authentic South Indian restaurant, the food they serve is completely compromised in quality. This is also one of the very expensive places compared to others who offers authentic South Indian food.
They are not as hygiene as they should. I'm a South Indian and i told my friend by the look of it that the food won't be that good..my friend who's from Delhi suggested that we try, we were sick the same day after we ate there. The masala they used for Dosas was expired and was giving bad smell...the chef himself smelled and indicated to one of the staffs, but they ignored..they continued to use the same old aloo masala to stuff the Dosas...the red chutney was sweet, i mean they have literally put sugar...the sambar is very sour and trust me that taste is something you would get only on a day's old sambar...when i inquired about the taste they said..this how people in Delhi prefer.. My Dear friends, that is not healthy..they put a lof sugar and tamarind, it would definitely give you some bad gas and stomach upset.
If you are somebody who would really want to enjoy Idli, Dosas and Vadas..please avoid this place..
To me, the taste is (1), quality is (1), authentic is (0), hygiene (1), value for money (0).
This is a genuine review and we ate there on 22nd Sep 2021.
If you still feel that you would want to try, then (i) just see people who are already eating there leaving any food on their plate (ii) just order less, try first, then go for more (iii) take a South Indian friend with you and ask his/her opinion (remember, mostly those who were born and brought up in Delhi might be same as you), so please find one who has come...
Read moreIt's a small cozy place that serves delicious south Indian food. The USP of this place lies in its prompt service. You would be awestruck but their promptness. The order reaches your table with 2mins. The service boy keeps the note of things that's need to be refilled like sambar, chatni, etc, and refills even before you realise that something need to be refilled.
You would be in and out of this place in 20min with your tummy full.
The thing that surprises me even more is the place only accepts cash. No cards, no paytm, no google pay, not even account transfer. Also you need to carry currency in small denomination. No 2k bill as the manager doesn't have enough cash for change.
Ample parking space is available just outside...
Read moreThe name might suggest South Indian, but the food isn't. They have comprised on taste and hygiene.. What they offer are Idlis, Dosas and Vada. Yet, the taste is not of South Indian. The sambar is weirdly sour, the chutney is sweet, vada is tasteless and the main ingredients such as pepper seeds, onion, currry leaves are missing. The masala which they use for dosas gives unpleasant smell. You will not find the taste any near to the typical South Indian food..
If you are from South, then i bet you wouldn't like the taste at all. Their prices are high and unfair for that taste, hygiene and the quality...
