Read moreEvery year or sometimes more than once in a year I visit certain city just to explore it's food. That remains my only agenda of visiting a particular place. This time it is the country's capital Delhi. On the first day started with a place that is very much close to every delhite & a dish that I think we all know & eat but has been Delhi's all time favorite breakfast, lunch & dinner Dish i.e Chole Bhature. Chole Bhature can be found at every nook & corner of delhi you cannot miss this dish here it's like literally everywhere. I tried it at one of the oldest kitchen & highly recommend place i.e at Sita Ram Divan Chand. The joint I visited only serves one dish i.e Chole (Chana) & Bhature. I ordered a plate & a lassi which costed me INR 100. There is no place to sit you have to stand & eat. It is like an Indian QSR which I like & self service place. One can get it's order in less than 5 minutes at this place. Now coming to their food. I was expecting full blown bhatura's but that was not the case. Their bhatura's have filling of paneer in them & pre fried, only to be heated before serving. Their chole was a perfect mixture of spices & had potato also in them. The combination is really heavy on your stomach, I thought differently & regretted later. One should have lassi with it to gulp down all the oil & sooth your throat.
Its more of an...
