Opinions deal with subjective matters in which there is no conclusive finding and facts which are sought to be disputed by the logical fallacy that one is entitled to their own. I think we prepensely jump into altercations trying to erase each others views with impugning points, scorning the simplest inkling that âoutlooks or viewpoints or tenets are not facts they are perspectives & not the truthâ. But is the greatest deception suffered by us, from our opinions ? Is our power of having an opinion & the constant dedication of turning it into an adjective for others has made us prejudiced ? But Who cares about what layman thinks, until the prejudiced formed is by a prime mover, capable of influencing your assumptions. Nik Bakers, roved all the way from Chandigarh to new delhi redefining the experience of fine eating with its pleasurable ensemble of snacks, desserts & numerous recipes that are well guarded trade secret. Setting the bar rather high all these years, they promised Delhiites great taste, gorgeous dĂ©cor, incomparable ambience and fine quality in all its products. Which turned out to be none of the above as i opened its doors. The gorgeous decor as mentioned is quite below average and questionable on its confused state of a cafe, coffee lounge or retail shop. Trying to stuff in maximum number of covers, theres hardly any space left for privacy, silence or manoeuvring around to check their displayed goodie stash. Surely a variety of products are offered behind the billing podium , but not impressive enough for the hype created. Made with three eggs and served with two toasted breads & wedges, i started with ham & cheese omelette. When the ideas of the brand come straight from Australia, you donât expect your omelette to be coloured brown & turn up with satin soft toasted bread. I understand that a busy cafe with countless fares finds out ways for easy operations and keeping only penne is acceptable. But not been able to serve it correct is unapologetic. The over cooked, squishy penne smothered in fiercely spiced arrabiata was more like a coarse Indian tomato chutney with mozzarella. Fatherly famous for their dessert collections which turned out to be a saving grace, i tried the easiest of all, eggless crispy banana waffles & blueberry pancakes that despite of avoiding eggs still had an extremely airy, fluffy...
Read moreAs a foodie & sandwich lover am very disappointed with the standard of food served here. Let me be very clear mention it you, there is nothing wrong as such with the club sandwich I've ordered but few things which I was expecting while placing the order for club sandwich - the amount I've paid is whooping âč650 for a sandwich which is as good as any 5 star hotel charges for a Sandwich. People pays higher amount in 5 star hotels or equivalent ... Bcos ambience, brand value of the hotel, quality, standard of service level & few more factors.. unfortunately everything was missing if you compare from the price prospective. Quality of bread is a normal multigrain ordinary bread & not a multigrain sandwich bread ( bread size bigger ). Bread quality is just an ordinary, chicken lettuce fried egg vegetables filled inside are again normal which you can get it any roadside or a âč150-200 sandwich. Boneless Chicken was from thigh not from breast which are more tender & juicy. Cucumber & tomato are not organic neither the egg. Most disappointed part was the super & extra deep fried french fries which are very greasy left it fully.. if am paying âč650 for a sandwich my expectations or any good food lovers expectations should be high .... It's not a value for money neither a 5 star restaurant where it's expected to pay 100-150% extra amount than a normal good...
