I visited POG on Tuesday 09 July 2024. The service, handled by Sachin, was impeccable, ensuring that every detail of our visit was taken care of with utmost professionalism and warmth. Chef Rajender and his team deserve special mention for their culinary brilliance, which truly elevated our dining experience.
As a vegetarian, I often find limited options that cater to my palate, but Pirates of Grill exceeded all my expectations. Here are some of the highlights from my meal:
Tandoori Malai Chaap: Super tender and melted in my mouth. Rating: 11/10 Mushrooms: Flavorful and well-cooked. Rating: 8/10 Paneer: Although I generally don't prefer paneer in barbeque, this was an exception. It was extremely soft, and the knife went through it effortlessly. Rating: 9.5/10 Pineapple: Extremely juicy and delicious. Rating: 11/10 Salsa Potato : Not only was it delicious, but the texture was also extremely crispy. Rating: 11/10 Bhalla Papdi Chaat : Decent but not exceptional. Rating: 6/10 Kebab (Galouti): Melted in the mouth, very enjoyable. Rating: 8/10 Crispy Corn: Brilliant texture and on point. Rating: 7.5/10 Chilly Paneer: Mind-blowing marination with superb taste and soft paneer. Rating: 10/10 Drinks (Pirates Panna & Pulpy Orange): Average. Rating: 4/10 Palak Corn Sabzi : Flavorful and well-prepared. Rating: 8/10 Dal Makhni: Rich and creamy. Rating: 9/10 Garlic Naan: Perfectly baked and flavorful. Rating: 11/10 Paneer Lababdar : Could have been better. Rating: 6/10 Pan Kulfi : Superb texture with raisins, just fabulous. Rating: 10/10 White Sauce Pasta : Decent but not outstanding. Rating: 7/10
The restaurant offers excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of food and service:
Weekdays Lunch (Mon/Tue): ₹699 Wed-Fri: ₹749 Sat-Sun: ₹899 (For Vegetarians)
Overall Experience :
After a recent disappointing experience at Barbeque Nation, which I previously loved, I was thrilled to find a new favorite in Pirates of Grill. Themis is decent but misses the "wow" factor that Pirates of Grill has mastered. This restaurant not only takes its food seriously but also focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Pirates of Grill is definitely a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food and excellent service. I am very happy to see restaurants like this setting a high standard in the culinary scene.
Highly...
Read moreI went there yesterday expecting to have a good subtle buffet… but the experience pirates of grill pacific mall gave me was truly unexpected and disappointing to the core.
Following points must be considered while choosing this place for your meal :-
Service :- it was really pathetic. For each and every thing I asked them to bring they said they are getting but instead they end up ignoring my request( water, chilli paratha, pineapple starter, to even menu). It was really bad they try to portray that they are getting but they will ignore u and go to other tables. This even happened to other tables beside me as well.
Starters :- they must be served timely. When I started with main course 30 Mins after starters thinking starters are done then they came and offered 3 starters( pasta, Bhalla papdi and all) which I could not understand how well trained are their staff to serve things so late at any random time. Also, when I asked to repeat one starter they said ok and then they ignores as usual but I kept reminding them another 3-4 times then they got me that after another 25 mins.
Food :- NOT TASTY AT ALL ( veg. starters and veg. mains course both) it was not even ok taste. I was so worthless that me and my family end up eating rotis with raita. Instead of any single dish. Even desserts weren’t good at all. I asked guy to pls make some jalebis but he kept me waiting for 10 mins or so in front of his face saying I’m busy to serve ice cream pls wait. I kept waiting patiently but to no vain I went back to my seat.
My experience was pathetic and I won’t suggest to waste this much amount of money for this sort of experience. The food is not good at all the staff and service is not good at all. So what I paid I don’t even know may be to have rotis with raita. Be mindful before...
Read moreThe service is pathetic, disgusting and poor. You keep sitting nobody will serve you any food, even if you call somebody and say that please serve food, they will ask you what you want and will never come back….. we were treated as if we were beggars who came there to eat free food, I ordered naan and the waiter who was bringing it got it half way and started laughing and giggling and doing timepass with other waiter on the way as if it wasn’t important to bring the bread fresh and hot to my table. I went to the live counter and the person said that there are only four chicken momos left, so I took it, then a waiter suddenly came around and asked do you want chicken momos we said yes. He just gave one piece chicken momo to my husband and nothing to me and walked away and never came back. They were focusing on large tables whereas we were paying the same amount of money. Nobody came to ask us how was the food, nobody asked if we need anything. THEY SIMPLY DON’T CARE…. I have never seen such low grade service anywhere. I have been to many many buffets, because my husband and I love going to buffets, and they feed you like crazy, and they treat you like you are the only one. And here they don’t care. They have like, 5-7 managers roaming around and not a single one bothers to go and ask the tables or get any feedback. They are just standing around that’s all. Nobody even asked us for water leave the drinks. The housekeeping staff will stand in your way and not even move. It’s like everything was disoriented. Food was also not good, few things that were eatable I ate those and got severe acidity and heartburn the next day. I will rather eat chole bhature from a street vendor than going there. I will never visit this place again and will NEVER EVER RECOMMEND...
