Punjab grill serves gourmet for elite profile preferring good taste and healthy eating buds. The place is located amongst posh Khan market and tastefully designed with modern taste buds. The black, white and golden decor is very 2ell complemented with traditional props and background folk music. They have interesting fusions to offer yet the flavor and quality is not compromised.
A meal here was a delectable experience. Here's what we had: 1.Chaat sampler: It had palak patta Chaat which was absolutely crunchy and tangy. Jowar bajra chaat: Millets with puffs, onion, microgreens which tasted like a bhel and quinoa methi tikki. Interestingly they tasted as awesome as the regular loaded Chaat and surprisingly these were super light and healthy. Non veg kabab platter: A treat for grill lovers, this platter offered lamb chops(perfectly fork tender, slow cooked, melt in mouth chops with earthy masala coating),Amritsari machchi(batter fried fresh fish fillets were absolutely crispy outside and flaky inside)seekh kabab(heavenly mash of tender meat with spices) and Chicken Malai tikka (melt in mouth, tender and creamy) Every dish was unique and tasted perfect. The masalas don't overpower yet give a distinct taste. 3.Patiala shahi chicken:One of the best chicken gravy dish I've ever had.The gravy had chunks of capsicum, onion and tomatoes with fine grounded masalas making it absolutely yumm. 4.Mutton punjab grill: Rustic yet smooth. The gravy will make you nostalgic with granny style home preparations that we get in punjab. 5.Amritsar keema kulcha:A great tasting keema stuffing which was abundant in every bite. 6.Kulfi falooda:A well presented usual dish which tasted unusually perfect with fine detailing to the taste. 7.Aam ras ki churi:A great fusion with mangoes and traditional crumbled churi. This one is not to be missed.
Apart from these I tried coconut water flavoured with lavender which was a saviour in killing humidity and heat outside and was refreshing. Rola Cola was interesting mix of spices and cola.
A special mention for ever smiling staff member Anshu who served us like a perfect person.

A GEM of a place known for its services, food, decor and classic hindi songs in the background, contributing to a memorable dining experience.
Coming to the food I along with a friend of mine had-
A chat platter with 3 types of Chaat-
Palak patta chaat,Jawar Bajra Chaat and chandni chownk ki chaat paapdi.
Fish Starters
AMRITSARI MACHHI- soft delicate fish (no bones) so tender that it just melts in your mouth.
AJWAINI FISH TIKKA - fried fish with a batter containing ajwain, fried but still light on stomach and easy to digest
KABAB -
MUTTON GUILOTI KEBAB - delicate kebabs served with a piece of roti.
DAHI KE KABAB- delicate dahi k kebab filled with peanuts and almonds
Mains- BUTTER CHICKEN - not to sweet, buttery thick, creamy gravy served with boneless chicken pieces. One can never get enough of.
DAL PUNJAB GRILL - mixed tadka dal full of flavours specially garlic and ginger.
This is the only place i have ever seen where the food is already good but the breads are killing it , one should DEFIANTLY try punjab Grill's GOBHI TE KHUBAANI DE CHUR CHUR NAAN.
Amazing job done here by CHEF SHANKAR.
Also a new add on in the menu is PALAK MUSHROOM - cooked with simplicity mantaining the flavours of the vegetables itself. Even though I am not a palak person but I had it all by myself that day.
In desserts we had- SUGARFREE ANJEER KI PHIRNI. SUGARFREE RASMALAI.
Both were RICH , fresh and no tooo sweet in taste just the way i like it.
Special thanks to
Mr. BRIJESH, MS.DEEP MALA AND CHEF SHANKAR.
Great job team Punjab...
Read moreWe had an outstanding lunch at PG last week and thought it was about time to express our pleasure! It took us a while to finalise our selections but we were well guided by our server/ supervisor Mr. Manoj Sharma who was personable and lovely!
We started out by sharing a couple of appetisers. The grilled variation of chicken tikka in tandoori and malai were juicy and perfectly charred!
We also shared tandoori lamb chops! The lamb melted in the mouth and the flavours were sublime with class and an enticing aftertaste. We even went for second helpings for this one alone, all gobbled up in seconds!
The main courses were equally as inviting. Chucking the most loved dish of punjabis, the humble butter chicken, we chose to stick with our servers recommendation and that’s how chicken malai kofta made it to our table! And what an excellent recipe. I have never had something quite like it. There were another meat dish aswell with the ever favourite mutton biryani but the malai kofta was definitely the show stopper for us at the table.
For dessert, we split an order of delectable shahi tukda that were, simply put amazing! This beats the previous best I had at karims anyday!
Not only the selection of food, and the flavourful use of spices, a reason for dining here, but the staff are amazing, attentive- but not overly so, making the whole experience amazing!
The hard to find excellent soft skills of hospitality in a large restaurant where everyone contributed to the experience is alive here! Atleast on my visit.
Also, Thanks to the chef Anand singh who curated the meal for us. It was a delight! I would absolutely go there again and I absolutely...
