Ricos, Kamla Nagar — Restaurant in Delhi

Restaurant is good but service is pathetic. It was a birthday celebration and we were looking for any corner or wall side seat so other people can’t be in pictures. It’s close seated area so it will be awkward to take others strangers in a frame without their permission and post their pictures as well in our celebration. Seats were occupied so we were waiting. They kept our cakes, Waiter came and asked to order and eat. We requested, bring the order after cake cutting so he pressurised and said, ‘No, you can’t sit as others customers are waiting’ while many side tables were empty only corner and side wall side were occupied. He repeated many times which was humiliating. I asked him, are you asking to leave the place? Then he left.

We were patiently waiting but after this, I requested to another customer seating next to us to exchange our seats as they were almost done with eating and chatting. She got happily ready but that waiter pointed out and manager came to stop to exchange the seats, Said, you can’t exchange the seats without my permission. I won’t allow to exchange”. It was so humiliating but we had no choice and we sat back on the seat. It completely ruined the celebration mood.

Manager David or whatever his name, not sure about his name, behaved so rude arguing and kept saying “you should take permission from me’ even after this situation he created, without considering someone’s birthday. It was so pathetic.

I have never faced such behaviour where there is no hospitality and manners to respond. One table got empty and we kept our bags there to and sat, waiter came and asked to stand. I requested. You can clean from here. He again asked, ‘No, you stand’ I need to clean.

Three times. We should have left the place but we kept waiting. Food tastes better with good service. Can anyone enjoy the food with spoilt mood?

There was only one person who initiated at last when we were leaving, was humble and understand true hospitality. Harsh who apologised for the inconvenience on the behalf of the other manager who didn’t show up and staff.

People come for food and to cheer up the mood, not to spoilt by other’s behaviour. It was bad...

'Ricos', Kamla Nagar is an American, Continental, Italian and Mexican Cafe. It looks really attractive and elegant from Outside. The Cafe has a beautiful glass exterior. The entrance to the Restaurant is so beautiful and is uniquely decorated. The interior of the place is also modern and decorated with new and unique ideas. The place gives the ambience and look of an upscale Restaurant. The kitchen and preparation area has been kept open to the customers. The menu offers wide varieties of the mentioned cuisines and the dishes are really tempting and nicely chosen.

I already have visited this place so many times and I must say that it is my favorite cafe. I have tried so many dishes here and have liked all of them except just Veg Shawarma. I loved Jack n Cheese Omellette, The Kidney beans Quesadillas, The Greek chargrilled Veg Pizza and also Green style Chipotle Veg Pizza. You have to try all the shakes especially the Strawberry Cake shake and the Tiramisu Shake. Loved them.

The presentation of the food is so elegant and pretty that you wouldnt feel like cutting it :) The taste was also really nice and unique.

It is a little noisy but makes up with its delicacies and beautiful interior. The prices on the menu are pretty reasonable.

I also have to specifically mention that Ricos' staff is really sweet and caring for small kids. It was the first time that i visited with a kid and was really happy with the way they treated her. Not only they have high chair, they gave her a complimentary portion of Fries. When she was finished with it, they again gave her a chocolate stick. It was really sweet. Loved it :)

Not only this the washroom here is really clean, hygienic and well maintained.
