This is a review of the Starbucks outlet , This is a ample space outlet, with very good seating inside the store itself, though there is agood numbers oftables and chairs in the public area outside.
Cleanliness is a little below par here, what with disposables scattered across now-vacated tables and on the floor as well. We had to wait about five minutes for someone to come and clean up the table we’d sat at.
The fare is the usual Starbucks menu: various hot and cold teas and coffees, some non-caffeinated drinks, sandwiches, wraps, muffins, wedges of cake, cookies, tea cakes and the like. I ordered a chicken Wellington; my husband an egg white and chicken ham multigrain croissant, plus a midnight mocha frappucino each, followed by a vanilla cruffin to share.
Impressions:
Chicken Wellington: Cooked chicken, along with various finely chopped vegetables (mushrooms, I suppose, were among these, though I couldn’t be certain), all encased in a thin layer of pastry and baked. This was served along with a small disposable plastic container filled with a sort of brown sauce. While the chicken Wellington and the sauce tasted good, the pastry was a little soggy, and—what I didn’t like at all—the sauce was cold, straight out of refrigeration. That cold sauce really ruined the dish for me.
Multigrain croissant with egg white and chicken ham: Fresh looking and very appetising, with fried egg white, a by generous amount of chicken ham, cheese, lettuce, etc. Tasty and good.
Midnight mocha: Midnight mocha, ever since Starbucks introduced it, has been my favourite frappucino. At this Starbucks, the midnight mocha just wasn’t good—even after a change, since when he first received our drinks, my husband saw that it was watery, and pointed it out. They changed the drinks for us, but even the remade drinks weren’t good: too much ice, too little liquid, so I ended up actually drinking only about half of my drink.
Vanilla cruffin: A cross between a muffin and a croissant, filled with a vanilla custard. This was really nice, soft and fluffy and moist in the outside, and with the custard lovely and cool inside. Delicious and...
Read moreI've visited other outlets as well but this has topped my list. The first time when I visited it, the service I recieved was so warming and it has not changed till date. Today, I visited them, especially, for the coffe tasting even which happens every Thursday at 4pm but because of some issues they couldn't host it today. When I asked the barista about it, they immediately and especially organised it for me. And I have to say, the event was great!! They quickly arranged all the necessary things for it and Ms. Anjali, the barista explained everything to me and my mother. There were not much people as the sitting was not allowed so, it was only my mother and me but still they didn't say anything and were happy that we wanted to join. She told us about how the black coffee is made and how you filter it. She even let us filter it! And told us how you should 'drink' it. And believe me, the method worked, it tasted different! At the end, the whole staff gifted me with a special handcrafted welcome card and to my surprise, even a frapp. And honestly, it touched my heart. All the staff, Manager, Ms. Anjali, Mr. Javed, Mr. Balram and all others truly made my day by letting me experience the tasting and even gifting me. Both the gifts were hand crafted so they were more special to me. Thank you Starbucks Kamla Nagar for making my heart smile and day special. I'll never forget this Thursday. May you have a great life ahead and god bless you.

Read moreExtremely rude staff, no basic training given on how to be courteous with customers, the ladies working behind the counter seem to have family issues which are the root of their nasty attitude with customers. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, even on the roads, let alone in a premium place like Starbucks. Had they behaved like this in the US the customer would have sued them. I request everyone to please support local small businesses more than these faceless corporations.
Edit: It's been almost a year, and i still find myself thinking about how rude the person behind the counter was and what i should have said in return rather than just keeping quite and staring in unbelief. I am an emotionally sensitive person and i request everyone to please be kind to one another. You never know how you might be damaging someone by...
