Starbucks at Pacific Mall: A Mixed Experience

Starbucks at Pacific Mall is a popular spot for coffee and a quick bite after shopping, conveniently located adjacent to Uniqlo.

I ordered a classic cold coffee with an extra shot of espresso. However, my first serving was surprisingly watery and diluted, prompting me to request a remake with the correct proportions. While the staff promptly replaced it, the second version lacked the extra shot I had ordered. Once again, I had to ask for the proper coffee, and only on the third attempt was it prepared correctly.

This inconsistency was unexpected, especially at Starbucks, where proportions are presumably standardized. Though the staff was polite and accommodating, such repeated adjustments shouldn’t be necessary—especially from a brand known for its reliability.

Additionally, I picked up a Tandoori chicken sandwich to enjoy at home. The variety of non-vegetarian options was limited, with the only other choice being a smoked chicken salami sandwich. The Tandoori filling, though flavorful, was more of a paste than actual chicken pieces, which affected the texture. The bread was also quite dry, making the overall experience less satisfying.

While the food and coffee have room for improvement, the ambience is decent but not particularly remarkable. The seating could certainly be enhanced in both quantity and arrangement.

(2) Order was delivered in a sealed packet without any straws or tissue. (3) Shameful for an International chain of restaurant who charges exorbitantly on the excuse of service. (4) If this is the basic service from such an International chain then God help us. What's wrong with brands like Chhayos from whom I get equivalent service and taste. On the ground floor of Pacific Mall you would find Starbucks in one corner. Would seem a small spaced outlet , but just enter in and walk through and you have ample space. The best part it has different seating as per you liking for high chairs to dinning table type seating , to sofa and a indoor swing as well.

Something which is different and unique to this outlet. The wall have been done up nicely and it gives you a different feel.

The staff if friendly and helpful. My personal obersevation is that they are quick in giving your order than other Starbucks. Just my perception might be but especially if it is full also I have noticed the same. Have visited this place atleast 8-10 times.
