This is a review of the Starbucks outlet which is situated on the right, just after you go up the ramp and tun towards Gates 37-62. This is a small outlet, with very little seating inside the store itself, though there are several tables and chairs in the public area outside.
Cleanliness is a little below par here, what with disposables scattered across now-vacated tables and on the floor as well. We had to wait about five minutes for someone to come and clean up the table we’d sat at.
The fare is the usual Starbucks menu: various hot and cold teas and coffees, some non-caffeinated drinks, sandwiches, wraps, muffins, wedges of cake, cookies, tea cakes and the like. I ordered a chicken Wellington; my husband an egg white and chicken ham multigrain croissant, plus a midnight mocha frappucino each, followed by a vanilla cruffin to share.
Impressions:
Chicken Wellington: Cooked chicken, along with various finely chopped vegetables (mushrooms, I suppose, were among these, though I couldn’t be certain), all encased in a thin layer of pastry and baked. This was served along with a small disposable plastic container filled with a sort of brown sauce. While the chicken Wellington and the sauce tasted good, the pastry was a little soggy, and—what I didn’t like at all—the sauce was cold, straight out of refrigeration. That cold sauce really ruined the dish for me.
Multigrain croissant with egg white and chicken ham: Fresh looking and very appetising, with fried egg white, a generous amount of chicken ham, cheese, lettuce, etc. Tasty and good.
Midnight mocha: Midnight mocha, ever since Starbucks introduced it, has been my favourite frappucino. At this Starbucks, the midnight mocha just wasn’t good—even after a change, since when he first received our drinks, my husband saw that it was watery, and pointed it out. They changed the drinks for us, but even the remade drinks weren’t good: too much ice, too little liquid, so I ended up actually drinking only about half of my drink.
Vanilla cruffin: A cross between a muffin and a croissant, filled with a vanilla custard. This was really nice, soft and fluffy and moist in the outside, and with the custard lovely and cool inside. Delicious and...
Read moreI visit this Starbucks location when I am visiting India. Usually their quality of food, drinks and service have been average, which is ok. But yesterday they treated me differently and it was bizarre.
On September 8th, 2023, I visited this location in the morning to work on my computer. I was there for around 3-4 hours and I ordered more than INR 1200 worth of food and beverages. Mocha frappe(grande), butter croissant, pumpkin spice latte(grande), hibiscus lemonade (grande) and mints. I saw their staff bringing food and drinks to literally every other customer’s table and I thought that they’ll do the same for me too, but every single time they kept my order at the counter, yelled out my name and that’s it. I was working on my computer with airpods on and I couldn’t hear my name. This is very strange. I placed 3 separate orders and they did this all 3 times, only for me.
I don’t know what kind of training this store is implementing, but I am from the US and THIS is not how Starbucks are run. I don’t mind grabbing my order, but don’t just do whatever you feel like, have a process and follow it. If you want to bring orders to table, fine, then do it for everybody, if not, fine, do the same for everybody. There are plenty of coffee shops in the vicinity to give this location a hard pass. This location can learn a thing or two from Tim Horton’s...
Read moreWalked in after seeing Starbucks. at NSP, an otherwise college student haunt. Growing start up offices has also ensured a lot of young professional crowd
#ambiance : 3.5 Well done. Very basic furniture unlike other Starbucks. More modification can be done on the walls. Good paintings and motifs all around The crowd was very thin with 3-4 tables occupied
#service : 2.5 No toilets. Very unlike standalone Starbucks. Rest of service is normal qsr style. Plus I could not take photos for zomato. Same store in USA would be sued to death for doing it to the customer. I as a customer have full rights to take photos of the common area and this really put me off
#f&b : 3 Cappacunio : normal and well done in soy milk. Starbucks coffee really has its own flavor Veg Focciao : badly made. Not at all fresh. The bread had become too hard to eat. Much needs to be done to improve the food at the store.
#value for money :2.5 Really disappointed with this Starbucks. At these prices a much higher level of service is expected from starbucks and much needs to be done at the NSP store
All in all i will recommend going to a punjabi bagh starbucks or CP starbucks outlet than coming here for...
