Rating my experience in a precise manner in a scale of 5:
Ambience: 👍👍👍👍👍 what an alfresco ambience,, it feels airy, warm and close to nature. Service : 👍👍👍👍👍 Staff : 👍👍👍👍👍 friendly and humble Pricing : 👍👍👍👍 ( Based on all my history cafés experience, this seems to be a bit more pricy measuring from the level of taste 👅 but I am gonna leave it to the chef.. in fact no complaint)
Food overall rating:3.5 Rating list wise:
Request: Instead of serving two same sauces and green chutney, you can serve: One green chutney, the less spicy sauce and the spicy sauce or alternatively you can promptly ask the customers of their preference to avoid wasting the sauce.
I hope the cafe find my review helpful to help the cafe improve. Wishing you the best!

Read moreI recently visited The Local Cafe and opted for a seat on the second floor, where the ambiance offered a serene view of trees and open windows. Despite the pleasant setting, my dining experience was a mix of highs and lows.
One notable drawback was the absence of music, which, in my opinion, could have enhanced the overall atmosphere. Additionally, the presence of smokers in the vicinity detracted from the otherwise tranquil environment.
For starters, we ordered the keema noodles, and unfortunately, they failed to impress. The dish felt like a fusion of traditional keema (commonly paired with chapati) with noodles. The combination seemed mismatched, and the flavors didn't harmonize as expected.
On a brighter note, the Canzone and Kothey momos were highlights of the meal. The Canzone was delightful, and the Kothey momos, though not perfect due to slightly thicker skin, tasted good.
However, the Amdo Flat Noodles with Hot Laphing Sauce left much to be desired. The noodles were bland, and the excessive oiliness of the sauce didn't contribute positively. Despite being served cold, as apparently intended, the overall taste failed to win me over.
In terms of quantity, the portions were generous, ensuring you won't leave hungry. The vibe of the place was generally good, with a peaceful ambiance on the second floor.
In conclusion, this cafe offers a decent dining experience with some hits and misses in the menu. If you're in the mood for a peaceful setting and don't mind a few culinary inconsistencies, it's worth a visit for a...
Read moreWe had a really disappointing experience with them today. This was my third visit to them in the same month. While the food is good, no doubt. The attitude of the service staff was highly unprofessional when it came to the bill payment. They refused to accept payment in Rs. 2000 notes because according to them those notes are ‘banned’ in India. Please note nowhere in the establishment or the menu card have they written that they don’t accept 2000 notes for payment. Further, we were told by the manager Mr. AK that their boss had asked them not to accept 2000 notes because the bank is are no longer accepting them. This was definitely the lowest point because not only are they refusing to accept a legal tender currency but also misleading the customer by spreading false information. I would also like to mention that their staff who brought us the bill, came back with the 2000 note and literally threw it on the table as if it wasn’t money. Highly disrespectful.
We had already had the meal so went ahead to give them the card for payment and they again refused to accept cards. Let me mention again, that there was no notice/ signage in their establishment or the menu that informed of this.
So basically if you go here, you can either pay UPI ( which not everyone uses) or in non-2000 notes because according to them they are banned in India and the banks don’t accept them.
It left such a sour aftertaste that I have taken to Google to put down this review in addition to Zomato because such practices should not...
