The nukkad cafe — Restaurant in Delhi

A few days back, I joined a new company, and just beside the office building, I found this amazing place – The Nukkad Cafe. It soon became the favourite spot for all of us. Every day, whether during breaks or after office hours, we would gather here for tea, snacks, and lots of friendly chats.

The cafe is not a high-fi or luxury place, but that’s what makes it special. It gives a simple, peaceful, and desi vibe – just like the name says, a real “nukkad” where everyone feels at home. The sitting area is open and welcoming, with light music and the aroma of chai and food making the environment feel even better.

We shared many laughs, discussed work stress, made fun of each other, and even planned weekend outings here. It became a place where we all connected beyond work. The tea is fresh and strong, and the snacks are simple yet tasty – from samosa to maggi and bun maska.

We saw it in cafés in Dwarka and went to check out. It’s quite small and cluttered. More for student community who come to pick up coffee and food. They have high chairs and wall mount tables. Not a relax kinda cafe but only for quick bites. We had masala Maggie. It’s for Rs 50. The Maggie had too much masala. Plain and masala Maggie both are for Rs 50. Cold coffee wasn’t good. Irish cold coffee wasn’t good either. Somehow the coffee beans or the coffee used ddnt seem of fine quality. Or it was seeking more like powdered coffee. Mexican burger was average. Had too much sauces. 3 rating only cos the owners are working hard to grow. Overall food quality and taste was below par. Prices are pocket friendly. Needs hygiene nd renovation. Great Food, Worth the Visit!

I recently visited this place and had a really good experience. The pizza was definitely a highlight—crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and well-seasoned. It hit the spot.

I also tried a few other items on the menu, and they were tasty as well. Nothing over-the-top, but definitely flavorful and satisfying.
