Verandah Moonshine — Restaurant in Delhi

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Verandah Moonshine, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. The pub management's blatant disregard for transparency and their erroneous drink pricing left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of.

Upon entering the pub, I was immediately drawn to the extensive drink offer which says Buy 2 Get 1 Free (Stoli). I eagerly ordered a couple of drinks, believing I had made a great choice. However, my excitement quickly turned into disbelief when I received the bill.

To my utter astonishment, the prices informed by one of the waiters (i.e. Buy 2 60ml and get 1 60ml for free for Rs. 880) were significantly lower than what I was charged (i.e. Rs.1730). It was evident that the pub had either deliberately or negligently misinformed its customers about the cost of their drinks. Such a deception not only undermines the trust of patrons but also highlights the establishment's lack of integrity.

Even more infuriating was the fact that the actual prices were nearly double what had been advertised. It felt like a deliberate attempt to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. When I approached the staff to inquire about the discrepancy, their response was dismissive and unapologetic. They offered no explanation or attempt to rectify the situation, further exacerbating my frustration.

A key aspect of any reputable establishment is honest communication with customers, especially when it comes to pricing. By misleading patrons with incorrect drink prices and then charging exorbitant amounts, Verandah Moonshine has demonstrated a complete disregard for ethical business practices.

It is disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. No one should have to endure the frustration and disappointment that I experienced at Verandah Moonshine. I strongly advise others to exercise caution and avoid this establishment until they address their deceptive pricing practices and exhibit a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

I sincerely hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for the management of Verandah Moonshine. It is essential that they take immediate action to rectify these issues and prioritize transparency and fair pricing. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I can trust that I will be treated with respect...

The most important key for any restaurant is their ambience and food, and after visiting this fabulous place I can say that they took this thing very seriously 💜 Visit this place and you will definitely fall in love with the decor😍 So they have bar and dinner at one floor and on second floor they serve hukka and alcohol. I really liked the genteel of manager Mr. Ramandeep Rajput, effortlessly he was managing everything👍

Coming to the food, I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful Waiter, Mr.Ram Aiyyar. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He literally helped us in ordering all the dishes. We ordered all the signature dishes of the place. For starters we ordered

Signature spring roll🌯 pepper and cheese spring rolls made from melting cheese, corns, sweet chilly sauce. This highly pleasing starters is a must have. I really liked the flavors they have used and plating was an add on point to the dish.

Second dish in veg was Cocktail Vada pav trust me I only ordered it because of the name not suggested by Mr Aiyyar. I was so much excited for this dish and was not at all disappointed. So they serve these mini vada pavs with Ghati masala, cheese sauce and tamarind glaze. I will highly recommend👍👍👍 these vada pavs different from what we usually have🤤🤤

For non veg starter Ghati Masala and chicken boti🍗 was ordered. It was a boneless chicken boti kababs with mint chutney and again the plating for the same was very nicely done. Taste was okeish.

For main course Mr. Aiyyar suggested us to have MUMBAI VEGETARIAN DABBA😍😍😍 It was a proper steel dabba having handi ka paneer makhani, Kohli sahab's dal 🥘 pav bhaji, rumali roti and steam rice... It was dabba sufficient for all five of us. Paneer was ok Dal was yummmmm and pav bhaji was speaking for itself it was tasty and appetizing... My tummy was khush 😍

Lastly we ordered their signature Chocolate fondant vanilla ice cream 🤤🤤🤤 it was delicious and profoundly indigestible dessert🍫

Special thanks to the man behind the whole menu Chef 👨‍🍳 Baldev Rawat very kind, gentle and a simple man. It was really nice meeting him😘😘

Was giving 4⭐ but because of the staff giving ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

PS. In short I really liked the ambience, the plating they do, dishes names, staff and of course the food.

A must visit at least for once you can surely visit this...

Sharing a wonderful meal with a loved one at a wonderful place can truly be an incredible experience! Landmarked at a prime location in Punjabi Bagh New Delhi, Verandah Moonshine is one of the most happening, lovely dine in & chilling places and it's easy to see, why.

As we stepped inside, the courteous staff guided us to our table. Warm colors and lively dining spaces gives this restaurant a cozy ambiance, perfect for a romantic rendezvous, and lively enough to chill with friends. The elegant décor and soothing music make for great romantic lunches and dinners. They have both an indoor and an outdoor seating area. The menu features delectable Indian, Italian & more cuisines highlighting the aromatic gestures in an excellent manner.

We hit it off with some wonderful cocktails coming in from the well stocked bar. Stuck to my sangria, though! Was really impressed with the combinations they had to offer for the mocktails as well.

Hard to resist the temptations, we ordered the food. Portions of dal makhani, butter chicken & paneer makhani with soft breads.

All the compositions felt perfect. Intrinsic flavours, generous portions and perfect presentation.

After a sumptuous meal, we relished their irresistible signature brownie & red velvet pastry to finish off an afternoon we won’t forget.

Also, if you're a sheesha lover, just like me don't forget to order your favourite one from the list of options they have. I tried the paan+kiwi flavor and it din't fail to impress me.

Could one ask for a better Saturday afternoon? Ofcourse, NOT!
