Wish I could rate a negative. Landed in dwarka on a hot afternoon and entered the place on recommendation of my auto driver. Found many local people having lunch. Not sure why this place is popular here. They were only serving gujarati thali, the price is higher than other places. The place is full of flies and people were sharing tables.
Food were full of oil, worst than roadside eateries and not edible at all. Then I realized mostly local and low income group of people are eating there and the taste might not be suitable for my taste bud. I took hardly one spoon of 2 types of curry and could not eat, somehow ate 2 rotis with some onion as I was famished.
Here comes the worst part, their staff came and started arguing with me that I wasted food. They were literally humiliating me. They dont have any sense that a tourist and woman customer who was exhausted from journey and couldn't even eat, they were humiliating in such a rude and bad language and there was no stopping of it. When I started answering back saying I didn't waste, took literally one spoon and couldn't eat, they were still shouting. Finally I had to shout back and talk rudely then only he stopped. In all these commotion, the manager and other staffs didn't bother.
In my whole life never faced such type of situation before. So unless you have an iron stomach, or you are a local person, please do not visit this place. If you are a woman and specially a tourist do not even think of visiting this place. There are so many good places around with better food and warm...
Read moreHad a wonderful dining experience at Purshotam Punjabi Restaurant! We ordered Dal Fry (with a special low-spice request), Steamed Rice, and Manchurian Rice and every dish was absolutely delicious. The chef did a fantastic job customizing the dal without compromising the taste.
Service was quick, polite, and efficient, we didn’t have to wait long at all.
The only downside was that despite being an AC hall, the cooling wasn’t up to the mark, which made the ambience slightly uncomfortable. Hope they fix this soon, as everything else was spot on.
Highly recommended for food lovers looking for authentic Punjabi taste and quick service. Will surely...
Read moreAverage usual quality of food, one can have it on any given day considering the options available around the town. we took food package from here which has 5 roties, aloo sabji daal and rice. Roti and daal was nicer than sabji and rice. Quantity of food is really good, 2 persons can eat ample food in budget of 300 rupies. Parking space is also available on the other side if you are having your own vehicle during the visit. Its also almost on entrence of town and hence not much crowded too. All in all good option to have...
