✅Recommendation ✅ Nanjing Dumpling Soup -Por Pia che
❌You may avoid ❌ -Devil Paneer if you don't like sweet paneer -Fried ice cream
My recent visit to La Creste was a blend of awe and disappointment, leaving me with mixed feelings about the overall experience. Upon entering, the restaurant made a grand first impression with its opulent design. The warm glow of the yellow lights illuminated the space beautifully, casting a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. A charming little fountain greeted us at the entrance, enhancing the serene ambiance. Known for its unique water-themed outdoor seating and an impressive multi-cuisine menu that boasts continental delicacies, the initial impressions were indeed promising.
However, our experience took an unexpected turn right at the beginning. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were asked to vacate our chosen table, which could accommodate six people, and move to another one. This was perplexing, considering there were no other customers around, and the insistence seemed rather unnecessary.
Coming to the core of any dining experience—the food. We began with the Nanjing Dumpling Soup. The presentation was underwhelming, as the dumplings resembled tiny marbles, with just two in each bowl. Although the size was disappointing, the flavor of the soup itself was commendable. It had a rich, well-balanced taste, and the texture was spot-on, making it a decent start to our meal.
For the main course, we opted for the Por Pia Che. The dish was essentially a larger portion of Cigar rolls, the sriracha sauce looked like spicy Indian curry in its consistency and flavor profile. The spicy, vibrant taste was a highlight, and it stood out as one of the better dishes we tried. The bold and intense flavors did justice to the concept of fusion cuisine, delivering a satisfying experience.
We also ordered Devil Paneer which is a deep fried paneer dish with stuffing inside which was okayish, and bit on a sweeter side for my taste palate and was definitely not devil for my tongue :)
Unfortunately, not all dishes maintained this standard. We ended our meal with fried ice cream, a dessert that should have been a delightful finale. Regrettably, it was poorly executed, adding a note of disappointment to the conclusion of our meal.
Service, which can often make or break the dining experience, was another area that fell short. The restaurant seemed overstaffed, with servers meandering around with little to do, yet failing to provide attentive service. Their insistence on making us change tables despite the lack of patrons reflected a lack of flexibility and customer focus.
In conclusion, La Creste offers a visually appealing setting and a few dishes that truly shine. However, the inconsistency in the food and service detracts from what could have been an exceptional dining experience. I would award this visit three stars, attributed solely to the dishes that were skillfully prepared. The chef’s talent is evident, but there is significant room for improvement in...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing Experience – Rude & Unprofessional Management
I recently visited La Crest Restaurant & Banquet, Gandhinagar with my mother and wife to inquire about hosting a marriage reception for 350 guests. What we expected was professional service, clear information, and a courteous interaction. What we got instead was one of the most disappointing and unpleasant customer experiences ever.
When we spoke to the manager, who was not only disinterested but also completely unhelpful.
When we asked about the reception packages, instead of explaining the details, he simply told us to "read the terms and conditions." This dismissive response was not only unhelpful but also completely unacceptable for a business that is supposed to cater to customer needs.
A banquet hall is not just a venue—it is a service-based business where clear communication and guidance are crucial. If customers are expected to figure out everything themselves, what is the point of having a manager in the first place?
Furthermore, when we inquired whether another banquet at the venue could accommodate 350 guests, his response was absurd. Despite the hall having a 300-person capacity, he rudely stated that they do not allow more than 250 guests. There was no effort to explain why or offer any alternatives. Instead, we were met with a rigid, dismissive attitude that made it seem like he was doing us a favor by even speaking to us.
The entire conversation was filled with arrogance and a complete lack of hospitality. Instead of engaging with potential customers and helping them understand their options, the manager acted as if our questions were a burden. His tone, choice of words, and unwillingness to provide details showed zero interest in customer service.
If this is how they treat people before booking an event, I can only imagine how frustrating and stressful it would be to actually host an event here. A wedding or reception is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, and it requires a venue that values and respects its clients. La Crest clearly fails in that regard.
I do not wish to waste...

I recently dined at La crest restaurants & banquets , and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the stage for what was to come—a culinary journey through authentic pure vegetarion restaurant.
The menu is packed with traditional Punjabi favorites, Thai, Mexican and each dish is a celebration of rich flavors and authentic spices. The Paneer tikka masala was creamy and perfectly spiced, melting in my mouth with every bite. The Dal Makhani was rich and comforting, cooked to perfection with just the right balance of creaminess and earthy lentil flavors.
The roti & rumali roti was soft, fluffy, and served fresh from the tandoor, making it the perfect accompaniment to the gravies. The Paneer Tikka was another highlight—marinated to perfection and grilled just right, offering a smoky, flavorful treat. We have added masala papad , chaas, macroni, pinacalada
What truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure we had a great dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.
Must note that we have prefer pinacolada but it was not kind of my taste, as soon as I noticed this issue to Captain Shambhu Chaudhary immediately he took the action and revised the same cocktail as per our taste.
Overall this restaurant offers a truly authentic taste of Punjab with a mix of traditional and contemporary flair. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to indulge in some mouth-watering Punjabi, Mexican, Thai, Chinese cuisine. Also they have banquets so anyone in #Ahmedabad #Gabdhinagar #kudasan #adalaj planning for gathering from 200 to 1500 people I can’t wait to...
