KFC — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

Got an extremely poor response. I'm surprised that how can a brand like KFC that too when the outlet is at one of the most posh area Habitat Centre, can afford to have poor staff, faulty payment machine and no cash at the order desk. When I offered to pay 500/- for a bill of 281/-, I was told that they don't have cash and I was told to pay via UPI. I made the payment and 281/- was debited from my account, but I was denied to give my order bcos the male staff (I don't know his name) told me that he hasn't received the payment due to some server issue. When I said that why should I leave without my order when the payment is deducted from my account, he was extremely rude and told me to keep standing there but he won't let me have my order. Is this how the staff of KFC deal with his customer? I strongly recommend the authorities to question that male staff and to teach him some manners. We were literally begging them to switch on the AC — the heat was unbearable and there was zero ventilation inside. It felt like we were sitting in an oven. Not just uncomfortable, it was borderline inhuman.

One lady at the counter was not only rude but also clearly frustrated with doing her job. During my second order (which I paid in cash), she told her colleague, “Don’t take cash, only UPI” — while we were standing right there and clearly heard her. If you don’t want to take cash, say it professionally — not like you’re gossiping behind the counter.

She also got visibly irritated when someone politely asked about what’s included in the meal or prices. Not just with me — even an elderly person who came after me faced the same rude behavior.

Honestly, it was obvious she’s not happy with her job. Then the question is: why is she even doing it? This kind of customer service is unacceptable. If the staff can’t handle basic courtesy and hygiene, you’re just...

KFC is a good brand but this outlet is full of whoohaas. Honestly, I don't know how to express my experience. They mess up everything and dont even answer properly when you question them. I don't know if the people there are undertrained or intoxicated. It was the second instance when this has happened. Specifically this indrapuram outlet has messed up my order before but I was able to let it slide and consider it a bad day. Today they ruined my mood again. I placed an order for 3 zinger burgers boxes and they said it'll take 15 mins to fulfil. Its not acceptable as per your standards but I said okay. Even after 45 minutes my order was not ready. My mom would've cooked an entire meal in this time. There are some people always standing there without uniform... I don't know they are trainees or what..
