Just an irony to give a rating of even 1 star as without this, I was not able to post the review.
This will be a detailed review of the Ambiance, Food, Service and overall experience. Visited with my wife on 16th Feb, 2017 to celebrate yet another year of togetherness. The theme is appreciable with lots of touch of nature, though artificial but still welcomed with chirping and humming sounds of birds. Since we were 2, we were offered a table for 2 (restaurant refused for prior reservations), sadly close to the kitchen. A lot of foul smell from the kitchen and also from the counter where the soiled dishes and crockery was kept. Anyways, we ordered Dal Makhni, Rara Chicken and Breads Basket. The chef took good 20 minutes to prepare the dishes and while we were waiting for the food, the time taken suggested that something good and tasty was on the way. The food looked good, however, as the food was being served, started giving goose bumps. The chicken pieces were BURNT. Ignored as the dish was prepared of tandoori chicken. The first bite of the gravy put a seal on the quality of food they serve. I really can not understand if the salt was added to chicken or chicken was added to salt. There was at-least 5 times the quantity of salt in Rara Chicken. We complained and after much persuasion, the Captain appeared with an excuse that they will replace the dish, which was not acceptable to me. The other dish was Dal Makhni which though was tasty, was just Luke warm. No complaints about the dal as I could understand the way they treat their guests. The Bread Basket comprised of 4 different types of breads including Missi Roti. Final nail in the coffin - the Missi roti was as crispy as a papad. It was CHARRED. The captain was shown who gently offered to replace the basket too and also offered to get the dal reheated. My evening and the mood were totally spoiled and I refused to stay back for the replacement food. Finally I asked them for the cheque. Good Lord, they didn't charge for the chicken, however, they charged for the Cold Dal, Charred breads and their SHITTY SERVICE. I was also informed that as a courtesy they have given me a discount of 15% on the total bill. The Captain said " 15% discount to de diya hai" I paid them INR 484/- for my arguments, for not eating anything and for spoiling my evening.
At the time of making the payments, I asked them to take my feedback which initially they refused, however, afterwards after much insistence, they took my feedback. I don't know if this feedback will be used for the enhancement of their services or will be a part of just about few more such feedback.
To sum up, the food was not even at par with any of the road side Dhaba. I will not recommend anyone to visit the restaurant to spoil the time...
Read moreToday first time I went this Restaurant. And its a big BIG restaurant . They divided in 2 parts, in one part its a buffet system and in other part they have Ā-La-Carte. Both have FANTASTIC Ambience. By name you can judge they have park theme. Damn Beautiful ambience. I loved it. I wish Zomato have video option, I made several clips which I shared on My Instagram handle- SpoonsOfFlavour. Anyhow, I shared some of ambience photos which you can see in photos section.
The moment we entered they warmly welcomed us. I was so happy to see how well they treated us. They asked us wether we want buffet else A-La-Carte. After discussion with my friends we go for buffet, after 5 minutes they denied that we cant serve A-La-Carte.. firstly they made excuse that we are only 3 in nos. And after 2 minutes another waiter came and told us it take another 1/2 n hour to start buffet. Firstly we came in afternoon and according to your timings it should there. And for your excuses I have one thing to say, if buffet was NOT ready than why you asked whether we want buffet or A-La-Carte??? As a saying “First Impression Is A Last Impression” from this I came to know what rating I need to give.
Anyhow, come to food part- We ordered everything veg. As they don’t serve non-veg in Navratre, which is fine for me. As I am vegetarian 😉😁
We ordered-
Tandoori Veg. Platter - It contains mushrooms, paneer, dahi ke Sholey, small tikkis, aloo roll. I liked everything. I don’t like mushrooms, this is the second place from where I liked mushrooms. Paneer was not that much soft. And I think paneer tikka could be better, with a little spicy., overall I liked everything and best part is it was served Hot.
In main course, we ordered-
Dal Makhani- Which was damn yumm. I LOVED IT. Must Must try.
Breads- Butter Naan- While we started to eat, last 2 piece if Naan were cold and ot crispy.. which we asked the waiter(Ajay) to change it.. and he serve fresh naan. I appreciate.
Lemonade- It was good.
Service was FANTASTIC. Ajay take care of everything, and even keep asking about food and everything. Thank you, Ajay.
Well Spent Afternoon.
Recommend for good ambience, well service and good food (but before going there don’t decide buffet or A-La-Carte, no options were there. 😉😁 Whatever is available have it. But...
