I had the misfortune of visiting Flying Dutchman in Indirapuram, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Where do I even begin?

Ambiance- The place is dark, dingy, and downright depressing. The so-called "decor" is a bizarre mishmash of cheap props that makes no sense whatsoever. It feels like they tried too hard to be trendy but ended up looking tacky. Service- Don't even get me started on the service. The staff was inattentive, rude, and acted like they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging our existence. We had to wait forever just to get a menu, and when we finally placed our order, it took an eternity for the food to arrive.

Food- The food was an absolute disaster. Everything we ordered was either overcooked, under-seasoned, or just plain inedible. The so-called "specialty" dishes tasted like something straight out of a microwave dinner box. The portion sizes were tiny, and the prices were ridiculously high for the garbage they served. I wouldn't be surprised if they were using leftover ingredients from days ago.

Hygiene- To top it all off, the cleanliness of the place was seriously questionable. The table was sticky, and the cutlery looked like it hadn't been properly washed in ages. I didn't even want to imagine what the kitchen might look like.

Overall- This place is a complete waste of time and money. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and avoid Flying Dutchman Indirapuram at all costs. There are far better options nearby that actually care about...

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

This says it all. Short of words to describe how well the Pirates theme is executed! From the entrance door, to menu to seating everything was apt! Full marks for the ambience.

The food is worth drooling. All top quality raw material is being used which is evident from the taste and the richness of the food served.

I tried: 3 tier charlie (veg) which is an amazing concept. Lots of snacks in a 3 level dish. Best was the samosa which was in the shape of gujiya and had stuffing of chilly paneer.

Non-veg platter: A must try for non-veggies. Tikka was fabulous and so was shami kebab, supersoft and super tasty.

Melon mojito: perfectly blended mojito with watermelon flavours

Mastani Paneer with dal makhani and naan: paneer was melt-in-the-mouth soft and gravy had lot of butter and cream. Rich in texture.

Brownie with ice cream: Again soft brownie with ice cream and toffee sauce was a perfect end to our scrumptious meal.

Only suggestion I have: May be the staff and manager can wear pirate outfits to go with the theme 😁

Special thanks to Chef Kalam Singh, he was kind enough to greet us and help us understand the dish preparations.

Mr Alok, the manager is very courteous and made sure we had a lovely time.

Special thanks to Mr. Shailendra and Mr. Madan for recommending us the best dishes and making sure that we didn't had to wait for the...

So we went to the flying Dutchman, Indirapuram. Firstly the service was very bad... Secondly the food was awful... Literally awful .... We ordered a pizza , spring rolls, and pasta .... And the quality and taste of food degraded with every item .... Spring rolls were nice... The pizza was "not khane layak" and the base of it was cooked to the extent that it became sooo hard we couldn't even chew it .... And... How can we forget about the pasta ... It was the worst thing in the whole world.... My friends tasted it and they were done after only one bite . . . The waiter just came gave us the menu and disappeared (literally)... Then after some time we called the waiter ordered what we did ... Then one by one we recieved our order .... And not once the waiter came to ask if we need anything or not .... And after finishing our food...we literally sat for more than 20 minutes waiting for her to get the desert we ordered but unfortunately nobody came and the we literally had to call her and remind her that we ordered a brownie too.... and she replies " log cancel b kr dete h order to isiliye maine bill me nahi chadhaya h abhi " and I was like ma'am if that happens you should have confirmed that thing with us !!!! And they do not have any...

REACH - Easy to reach as Indirapuram has wide roads. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the habitat centre. PARKING - The Habitat Centre, in which this restaurant is located, has its own parking, chargeable to ₹50. AMBIENCE- The interiors are designed to give a typical dutch bar feeling. The place is dimply lit. However nobody faces any problem as the lighting is apt for a cozy environment. There is a live DJ who plays really good songs. STAFF - The staff seemed a bit untrained and the problem being unable to tend all the tables timely exists here as well. One particular thing that irked me was that I was waiting for a particular dish to arrive for almost 25 minutes and in the meanwhile atleast 2 staff members came and asked me if my meal is done and can i vacate the seats? Shouldn't they ask with each other first about whether a certain table has any order pending or not before asking them to vacate? FOOD - Food is delicious. We tried "Pizza", "Apple Mojito", "Aam Panna", "Red Sauce Pasta" and te ever elusive "Dimsums' which took almost 30 minutes to arrive. However, the food was tasty, and the chef seems to know his game. Cost - Around ₹1500 for two people.

Now this rating is based on various factors: If I talk about the ambience..it's lit! It's a pirate themed cafe and is very amazing. The cafe is in form of a ship and interiors are dark and cozy. There are comfortable sofas and lighting is also beautiful! The waitors wear that typical pirate dresses. So it's one of a kind in Indirapuram. Now talking about the food... It's very expensive for the quality and amount of food served here. Two samosas for Rs.795/- I think that is a special menu or it's just misprinted! God knows... I ordered a platter and a veg pizza. The platter was fine but the quantity was very less! Pizza was also ok. Finally talking about the drinks, they say they serve alcohol...but when I asked about it they said it's only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! And that too only beer! What a disappointment. I went on a weekday so I ordered kiwi mojito which tasted like green apple mojito! But till that time I was like "whatever" since we went there to have drinks.

f you’re planning to visit this place, I’d say it’s a mixed experience. The atmosphere was just about okay — since it’s located close to Imperfecto, the outside seating suffers from quite a bit of noise spillover. If you’re someone who enjoys a calmer vibe while dining, you may find it a little distracting, especially during peak hours. On the brighter side, the service was pleasant. The lady attending our table was polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience smoother. It’s always nice when staff put in the effort to make you feel comfortable. Coming to the food, it was decent but nothing that really stood out. Some dishes were enjoyable, but overall, the taste and presentation felt average compared to expectations. Not bad, but not something that would pull me back again in a hurry. Overall, I’d rate it as an average experience — good enough for a casual outing if you’re already in the area, but probably not a place I’d go out of my way to revisit.
