I must have visited this place like a hundred times. I like almost everything about this place. I have visited this place with friends, family, colleagues, etc. Now, lets start with the review.
Ambience: The restaurant is quiet neat and clean. Situated in patto area, you do not get to hear the rush of the traffic on the road compared to other restaurants which are located in crowded areas. There are two floors where you can sit for the meal. I prefer the ground floor one near the windows since it feels really refreshing. The seats on top floor do not have the privilege of the outside view though. Lunch times are very very crowded here, so if you are going out with a large group of your colleagues, but also have to reach to work quickly, reach there by 1. Its paid parking everywhere on patto and there is no issue of parking in this area.
Food: Frankly speaking, i like every dish that is prepared here. I usually go for fish thali, which is really good. The fried fish is really good and fresh in thali. Prawns/Veg biryani are served with not only raaita but also served with another spicy gravy. I have had crabs here, again superb. It took us actually 1.5hours to finish them. There are many crabs provided in xacuti or any other crab dishes. Fish fingers are the best here. From soups to desserts, all very good. In desserts, caramel custard is the best one i have ever had. Overall, the food here is very delicious and available at a reasonable rate.
Service: During lunch time, the restaurant is quite crowded and as crowd increases, the service becomes slightly slower(except if you have ordered thali).Thalis are served very quickly. Usually, quite friendly staff. Overall,...

★★★★☆ A reliable destination for seafood and Goan thali in Panaji. Portions are generous, ingredients fresh, and prices fair (~₹950 for two). The interior is neat and family‑friendly. Great if you're craving fish thali and want consistent flavor. However, service can be slow when busy and at times dishes (like biryani) seemed overly green or greasy. Some spice elements felt undercooked. The restaurant fills up fast, so timing your visit or arriving early helps. Still, given the quality and consistency over the years, I’d recommend it for a solid Goan meal...
Read moreWe visited here around 3pm, were quickly seated placed our order and were served our drinks. We ordered honey mustard chicken, garlic prawns and stuffed paratha. The food took quite a while to arrive, which we didn't mind as we presumed it was being freshly cooked. Two dishes arrived... one resembling the chicken and the other definately chicken in a fiery red sauce. We were told the mustard/honey one was prawn...as he cut into pieces with a spoon...on disagreeing with the server he took the honey mustard one away and left the fiery red one...so we are now left with neither of our ordered dishes!!! He came back a while later with the honey mustard dish and told us prawns were coming. On trying the chicken dish it was stone cold. We asked to speak to the manager...and waited and waited. My husband went to find the manager...who clearly wasn't bothered and just wondered off...very very bad service!
Enough is enough of this dreadful place and unsafe food...
We went to the counter to pay our drinks bill. Our origional waiter appologised for the wrong order, it wasn't his fault but atbleast he had the manners and courtesy to appologise....the manager again couldnt care less!!
This is a very badly managed restaurant which filters down to the badly trained staff.
The chicken being served is unsafe to eat due to lukewarm temp it finally turns up at.
There are plenty of good eateries with excellent staff, well trained in hospitality. This is definately not...
