Fantastic Dining Experience at Tamari – Vivanta Panaji
I had dinner at Tamari for three nights during my stay in Goa, and it was honestly one of the best parts of my trip. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of options—especially great for someone like me who doesn’t usually eat Indian food. I never had trouble finding something I loved.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Bassapa, Chef Keshav, Larry, Darshan, and Ajay for making every evening feel special. They were always attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
On my last night, I was surprised with a complimentary drink and dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch and made my final dinner in Goa even more memorable.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience—great food, amazing service, and a lovely atmosphere. Huge thanks to everyone at Tamari and the staff at Vivanta Panaji and Miramar for making my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to...
Read moreA few days back, we made an impromptu dinner plan to visit Tamari for some Asian food. And I'm so glad we did. Right from the ambience, the service to the food, everything turned out to be just perfect.
We started with the Konjee crispy mushrooms were nice and crispy, without being chewy and the sauce in which they were sautéed wasn't too spicy either. Golden sweet corn soup was the usual soup with corn and other veggies and thankfully, not too thick in texture.
Okonomiyaki (the Japanese pizza) was a delight dish, not like your regular bread pizza, but a soft pancake instead, loaded with lots of vegetables. We totally loved this one.Of their Signature Rolls, we had the Midori which was beautifully made and tasted great.
We ended our meal with some warm Japanese tea. Pricing of the food is not too bad and the wonderful overall experience quite justifies it. Would highly recommend...
Read moreHad gone to Tamari for a dinner to celebrate my birthday on the 2/04/24. The food was absolutely not upto the marks in comparison to price we pay for. We ordered couple of dishes like chilly chicken, chicken katsu(which lacked salt), momos (OK ok), fried rice which tasted OK nothing great.. The WORST WAS THE SUSHI. Pls never ever go for sushi here the salmon / tuna was stale. Our attendant messed up the order. He forgot to place one of the order while we kept waiting for the same. Cocktails were horrible not prepared the it should have been. And when we confronted them for the same they casually said the bartender must have forgotten to add this or that to ur cocktail. If u want to have a good time and do not want to ruin your day inspite of paying hefty bill at the end then do not go to TAMARI. There are other restaurants out there doing far...
