Visited this place thrice during a stay at Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort. It is just a 2 minute walk from the Club Mahindra premises.
We saw a few other restaurants around but none as crowded as Abbie's so decided to step in. Had also seen the good reviews on Google. Lunch was excellent with value for money, tasty sea food (we had king fish & prawns fry, Goan red snapper curry, rice, naan, fish n chips, chilly chicken, beer) and absolutely fantastic service from the staff.
We went back the next day for breakfast (English breakfast, excellent aloo & paneer parathas, veg sandwich, open cheese toast, nutella toast, juices, coffee) but found the service very slow. Apparently they had closed very late the previous night and didn't have enough staff the next day morning, but the food was very good nevertheless and at very reasonable prices.
To our great surprise one of the servers from the previous day met us in the morning and it turns out he is one of the partners on the restaurant as well as owns a nearby resort. So don't miss having a chat with him, Narendra, and knowing his very interesting background and how he came about starting this restaurant and resort. Definitely a must visit if you are...
Read moreHello all! Me and my husband have been visiting abbi's garden since two years now! The first meal we had in goa after our marriage was at abbi's garden! Located in the quiet and beautiful location at varca , this restaurant serves lip smacking goan meals! Bonus points is it is very close to the varca beach, so after a trip to the beach you can come down to have delicious meals and some drinks as well! We have eaten maby dishes here but i would recommend - fish and chips, bombil rawa fry, prawn biryani . My husband's fav was chicken lemon steak!😋 Abbi's garden is one such restuarant that is value for money! Its totally worth every penny that you spend and they make sure you have a hearty meal! I have been recommending to my family and friends and do try this place for really tasty and authentic goan meals! Thank you abbis garden for the wonderful experience everytime we...
Read moreWent here for late lunch lunch with friends and family. I think this was one of the best places I've had a wholesome meal at. We tried the beef pepper fry which was out of the world. We also tried the sausage fry, pomfret tawa fry and prawn chips for starters which were amazing too. Their cocktails are so well made. And for main course we had the sausage naan, fish curry rice , prawn curry rice , prawn masala and prawns Biryani. I have never over eaten so much and been so satisfied with everything I ate. We loved the place so much that we ended having lunch here two days in a row. Also the staff here are very sweet. Ronny and Narendra bring so much warmth and when they came to know we were celebrating a birthday, they decorated the place up too. If you're living in south Goa, this is one place you cannot miss out on. Coming back here...
