Soft Rock Cafe — Restaurant in Goa

A great bar that serves reasonably priced drinks with a big smile. It doesn’t look much from the outside (it’s on the main road) but it’s friendly and buzzing in the evenings. There’s a mix of Chinese and Indian dishes - they’re all cooked to order so take 15-20 mins to come out. A refreshing change from the 5* resort just across the road (where we’re staying and the restaurants are empty and charge 4x the price). No ambience! Outdoor seating right next to the road, which is nice. But It’ll be trrribly hot during peak summers.

Everything we tasted was good. Lollipops were cooked beautifully and super crunchy.

We could feel, see and taste the chicken in the spring rolls and the portion was so generous!

Sauces accompanying both the dishes were good.

Pepper chicken was basic. I assumed it to be black. But I guess the name is what it is coz it has bell peppers 😉.

Great place to hang out with a bunch of friends. It's an outdoor seating arrangement. Food was pretty decent and reasonably priced. We had the Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Rawa Fry, Chicken Tawa Fry, Mushroom Chilly and Paneer Manchurian. I'd say go for the Chicken Rawa Fry, Chicken Lollipop and Paneer Manchurian coupled with some chilled beers. The owner is relatively new and service is a tad bit slow but overall a nice experience.
