BLUE WAVES — Restaurant in Goa

Blue Waves is by far my favorite shack on Baga Beach. The staff are very friendly and not pushy at all. I found them to be very attentive but also know when to give you space. The establishment is very good to foreigners like me and were very honest in all dealings. The prices are pretty standard for Goa for both food and drink. Their portion of the beach was quiet and clean. The staff did a good job of keeping unwanted vendors and animals away allowing their guests to enjoy a drink or meal beachside. The establishment also provides a bathroom and a shower for rinsing.

The food and ambience was very good. But the thing is the staff and the lady sitting on the counter is a clear thief. I forgot my phone at the counter while doing the payment. She kept it inside in the drawer. Inspite of asking 3 times, whether I have left my phone here or not, she gave a clear NO as the answer. And when my friends threatened her, for showing the CCTV she started making clear excuses and called a staff from inside asking whether there was a phone or not, and he said YES after the quarrel happened and then she only returned the phone from her counter.

We tried the French fries, and noodles. The fries were crispy and long. You may have ask for more masala. Same goes with the noodles. The strawberry and chocolate shakes were also good. Better than the so called thick shakes at Burger 👑. The service is what stands out. They do levy a 10 percentage service charge which is worth it unlike some of the so called premium properties...
