Shining Star Beach Shack — Restaurant in Goa

We Visited this place on a weekday night but as usual Baga beach was crowded. We thought of exploring the shack food and was looking for the one with beautiful shack ambience at night that's when Shinning Star Beach Shack caught our eyes.

Their Lighting was prettiest amongst all which not only pulled me but also few other couple who came after us. Service was quick and the person serving us was very genuine and accommodating. He's courteous behaviour added to our good time here.

We had Hookah and beer to start with along with Chicken Chilly and French Fries. Chicken Chilly was excellent we never thought of when we ordered that it could be so good however we loved it. French Fries was nice and perfectly fried went nicely with tomato ketchup. We later ordered for Chicken Tikka Pizza again this one was very good and really exceeded our expectations.

Overall we had a great time out here with wonderful ambience as well as good food and service. Highly recommend this place...

The rating is for the way the staff discriminates against Indians. We went in November and despite the sun beds being vacant they said they were all booked by the Russians who were their regular clients. When a Russian group vacated a pair of beds and we heard the waiters confirm that a group of three sun beds were vacant we asked again. Their response - those Russians will be returning. Those were reserved for them. Then they promptly gave the newly vacated beds to a new group of Russians. So we confronted the staff only to be told, 'you come and go, but the Russians are our regular clientele'. Step fatherly treatment if you are a brown skin, and average shack quality food. Firstly, we came searching for this Shack because of the online ratings, avoiding huge offers on drinks from the other shacks around. Very sceptical initially but decided to have food and drinks here. Food was exceedingly good and the service was extraordinary. Mahesh was one of the staff who was great with the service, his exceptional knowledge & suggestions on drinks and food is worth mentioning. Overall, I would say you wouldn't be disappointed with this Beach shack. It's worth even ignoring the other shack's tempting offers. The seating and ambience is great as well.
