Scamers! stay away from this place or you'll regret it. Here's the proof of my terrible experience. On September 28, 2024, at around 2 AM, I ordered through the machine and paid via Gpay. The money was debited, but the screen reset to the checkout page. The staff member, Logen, told me to pay again, promising a refund within 7 to 14 days. Having worked in a call center, I know it should take just 5-7 days.
I remained calm and paid again. After my meal, when I asked Logen for any documentation, he said he didn’t need it, claiming he would escalate the issue. I pressed him for proof of escalation, and he refused. I demanded to speak with his manager, and he gave me the area manager's number, Manas. I called him and reiterated my situation, insisting on documenting the refund process. He finally agreed to take my details via WhatsApp.
After following up with Manas after 7 days, he assured me it would be refunded and to wait a few more days. I have call recordings to back this up. Then, on October 5, Ketan contacted me, apologizing and asking for my bank statement, promising the refund by Monday along with a discount for my next visit.
But by October 15, I had heard nothing. I created a WhatsApp group with Logen, Manas, and Ketan to demand an update since it had been 16 days. Ketan called me immediately, assuring me the refund was coming. On October 18, he called again for my bank statement, reiterating that it would be processed.
Now, on October 20th, I received my refund. Ketan calls me today to cross verify this and i saw the refund in my account on 20th Oct. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I will never return to this place. I have screenshots of all conversations, and I suggest you take this seriously. I am sorry but this comment stays so others are aware of how negligent the management can be. Read moreToday we had a pathetic and disappointing experience in Burger King (Porvorim) We were very happy to see this outlet opened a few months back and wish to visit the same. On the occasion of Diwali had an opportunity to visit the outlet. But we were disappointed. We had ordered for 2 paneer wraps meals and one Mutton whooper meal. We paid extra for cheese also. After eating our meals we realised there was no cheese slices added to the wraps. While leaving we asked at the counter about it. Anuja, the sales girl at the counter who took our order earlier was very humble and courteous. When we told her there was no cheeses slices in the wraps she was confirming with her co - staff. 3 of them 2 females and one male said they had added. They were sort of not happy and were speaking amongst themselves. This girl Sonal (one of the staff) was too smartly replying the cheese may have melted. But sorry to say slice cheese will not melt quickly as the wraps were not sizzling hot. Also, all the food served was cold not even warm. Also, Sonal made a gesture showing this lady (me) is mad by putting her had on the forehead. Is this hospitability? This is how customers are treated in India. We were in Dubai for last 17 years but never had such an experience. We are paying extra money so atleast try to give good service. The AC was not working upstairs and inspite of telling the staff they put it on while we were leaving. The washroom was unhygienic and stinking and not even flushed. A very heart breaking experience all though we had gone their with my kids to enjoy food. Will never visit again. Read moreThis is where the problem lies! Especially in India, when these brands open they do so with ablomb! And few months later the staff is reduced considerably and service, hygiene and waiting time is impacted to a great level tarnishing the image and value of these brands!
Same goes with Burger King, Goa! Saturday time, peak hours around 8-9 evening and only 1 billing counter is opened! It's looked more like SBI and less like Burger King! 8-9 people inside the kitchen and 1 at the counter!
Secondly, presence of no manager! If everyone is at the same position who will instruct, who will supervise, who will ensure quality! Due to this the dirty leftover plates were lying at the table for long and I had to remind the staff at the counter to remove it and wipe the table!
Dont take me wrong, the staff is very hard working, kudos to them! But they were untrained and it didn't look like they were at Burger King! Moreover all boys staff further ensured there was no gentle air in the house. May be there policy of opening till 3 to 4 am is the reason behind this! But a vibrant branch like Burger King sboulf ensure that a mix of youth of both genders are employed and trained in a professional manner. Moreover, a friendly, welcoming and prompt manager should be appointed wearing a different uniform which can ensure quality and consistency at the Porvorim outlet.
