Read moreRude owner and abysmal customer service. I was at this restaurant with my cousin few weeks ago for a big take-out order and informed the owner that I only carry card (both debit and credit) and if they dont accept card, that's alright and I wont push them. Looking at the size of order, he agreed to accept card. Since the food took long time to prepare, we ordered a juice worth 160 INR (~$2). This is where the problem started. When we were done, we were asked to pay cash. I repeated that I only have card on me that day and I have also mentioned this before. Owner got furious and yelled at us for not having such small amount of cash. I let him know that any tax/extra charges are completely acceptable by me, if needed I can provide a local debit card too and also I'm not in a hurry and can wait for them process. I went to the counter with debit card because the card reader cable will not extend to our table. I was again yelled at because I stood up from my table - as if I'm in kindergarden. I was asked to go back to my table and not move until I was asked to. The man (40+, bald head - so that you will recognize him next time) came over to my table with the card reader (which had 1% battery left) and rushed me to sign right away. I noticed that I was about to charged 1600 INR ($20 - may be an honest mistake) and asked him why there is an extra zero. He got violent and started muttering curse words under his breath that I do not have cash. He tried to charge the card reader in the plug point next to my table and electricity got cut off in the city right at the moment. He totally lost it at the point and started cursing us loudly. At this time, I stood up for myself and gave him a piece of my mind that this is not the way to treat customers. There needs to be respect regardless of the situation and pointed out that I did not rush/hassle him at all throughout this ordeal. He did not seem to care and continued to shout that he knows how to run a restaurant and I do not need to explain anything to him. WORST EXPERINCE EVER!! AVOID IT ALL COSTS if you would like ot hold onto your...
