Have been to this restaurant on a couple of times to have breakfast. On both occasions, I had to go to the 2nd floor as the downstairs area was filled to capacity. The ground floor space is quite narrow and has a limited number of seats.
However there is a lot more space upstairs and it is brighter and has much better air flow because of the open windows on two sides. The first time I visited, the tables upstairs were still quite messy as there may have been customers all finishing their meals at the same time. However, the waiting staff cleared the tables quickly. The menu is extensive and has plenty of choices. All vegetarian ofcourse. The wait staff is attentive and the food ordered came out quickly. The rawa masala dosa (1st visit) and the masala dosa and sheera were all well prepared and tasty. The special tea to top off the meal was also quite good.
The restaurant is located in a very convenient location right opposite the football ground in Candolim and next to the Candolim Tinto (market). Very close to the T junction of Pilerne Road and the Calangute-Fort Aguada Road.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good vegetarian food in and around...
Read moreWe have visited Hotel Sagar to have South Indian dishes. We had ordered 3-4 different verity of dosas. It was delicious and tasty. But we all very disappoint with its sambhar served by them. It was so sweet, test like kathiyawdi daal. I also appreciate the coock for using different types of plates for different types of dosa and uttapam. Overall experience was good, recommended for South Indian food. But I have complaint with owner, why should you sell Bisleri Blish at ₹30 instead of regular Bisleri at ₹20.
