CARPE DIEM CAFE — Restaurant in Goa

Ok first off, the place does have really tasty food served. However, the good things stop here as we had a very bad experience whilst having breakfast. It had only been 10 minutes into our breakfast, and the waiters are already being passive aggressive to finish our food and leave as there were other patrons arriving.(the place has approx 5 tables only). First they took off the menu, then even tissues! and whilst eating they asked us if we were done, which was ridiculous. They made the new patrons sit directly in front of us which made us extremely uncomfortable. During our South Goa trip we stayed at Lost Hostel palolem and Carpe Diem Cafe Palolem became our breakfast go to. The cafe serves excellent South Indian dishes and the best masala chai. Open all day, you can order from the menu anytime and the rates are reasonable. While the Chinese food was just okay, the owner's kindness and the fantastic service stood out. One day, when we requested soup, the owner honestly mentioned it might not match Mumbai's taste which truly won our hearts. Overall, it's a great spot for good...

Was there with my girlfriend. One of the waiters (thin and longer hair) was taking pictures of her and ran away after she caught him. This is just disgusting behavior. We tried talking to another waiter about it and he just smiled it away and did not even excuse this behavior. We lost our appetite and left.

Dear owners: we know that this behavior is pretty common here and we experienced it a lot ourselves. But come on, we are paying money at your place. This is not how you treat...
