German Bakery — Restaurant in Goa

I visited German Bakery twice, and my experience ranged from decent to disappointing.

On my first visit, I tried the lemon cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant, apple crumble, and chocolate roll. The lemon cinnamon roll was good, with a nice balance of flavors. The apple crumble was just okay and didn’t justify its price. The chocolate croissant and chocolate roll were disappointing, as they had very little chocolate, making them quite bland. Overall, the experience was mediocre, but I still decided to give the place another shot.

For my second visit, I ordered a choco brownie cake for ₹ 1000 for a birthday celebration. However, when we cut into it, I realized it was not a brownie cake at all—just a plain, dry chocolate sponge cake. A brownie cake should be dense and rich, but this was light, dry, and completely underwhelming. Everyone ended up passing on it, which was quite embarrassing since I had brought it as a gift.

While my first visit was average at best, the second one was frustrating and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place for cakes, and I don’t see...

Awesome breakfast in Palolem, Goa. Big thanks to German Bakery Palolem . Had the following Bread toast and Scrambled eggs with Lemongrass Tea two fresh long n crunchy breads with Amul butter is pure heaven the scrambled eggs are absolutely delicious, made perfectly, great start of the day Lemongrass tea literally wakes you up from the half sleepy mode

Chicken Small Sandwich good amount of chicken pieces sandwiched between the fresh breads along with veggies, mayos and sauces is a real gamechanger , keeps you full for a long time

Their special BANOFFEE PIE A Must have if you are in German Bakery. The base is hard like cheesecake. Amid there is a gooey layer of brown chocolate. On top of this there is a layer of whipped cream and finally on top of everything you have pieces of banana. Each bite combines the taste of these four layers and makes riot on your tastebuds.

Loved the taste and ambiance.
