Worst place ever to visit
FYI who want to visit please note :
Ordered a chicken lollipop and chicken schezwan rice
Lollipop wer like frog legs which u get to see during the rains
Then I called the waiter to ask him why the lollipops so tiny to which the dear water replied "How may pieces have you got 5 or 7" I said 7 then he is like sir now a daysthe chicken wer are getting r small - dumb reply to which i LOL"
To add to this the chicken schezwan rice there no salt in that and the worst I could expect in GOA (ruined my dinner and money too)
Further more the server from the start who handled the table till we left he dint even ask us for water ( free or chargeable) whatever IDC now
Moreover looking at the past reviews it's actually they are looting customers and making money
Hope so the owners of the resto (CHAWLAS) read my so called valuable review and understand the customers concern and think it our hard earned money what we are giving you and which is a waste HONESTLY
TO THE OWNERS AGAIN THANK YOU IN ADVANCE IF YOU ARE READING IT OR U DELETE THIS REVIEW IT WOULD NOT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE TO ME BUT YOU ARE JUST LOOSING CUSTOMERS
STAY SAFE TO ALL WHO READ THIS...
Read moreI've been visiting this place since the monsoons, during which they were all covered up and were clean, however as the season's changed and they started spreading out it was pretty obvious they were losing all they had, first the tandoori cook was gone, after which when I ordered a cheese garlic naan it was a complete disaster, the naan was so thick that I could taste raw flour, the main cook loses control when the hours turn to 11-12 at night and he goes berserk with oil and salt in the food, lately I visited and the kitchen was shifted towards the end corner, the place was dirty, the so called ppl who were working in the name of staff were so filthy that I jus couldn't get myself to order any food unless I wanted to get sick by eating food served by them, secondly what I noticed is they have hiked their prices and I could see prices almost to what Mehek e Punjab charges, you guys must be joking, you want to earn money by poorly maintaining the place, quality of food is poor and don't talk about the staff, you want to be in business you get your act together or else makes more sense by opening a food stall cart rather than...
Read moreLoved it. This was my go to place during goan tour. Their tea is best Not the overrated ones in artjuna or thalassa, But the best tea with adhrak (ginger) which will bring happiness inside u for 20rs. Punjab (in their ads) is not a lie, roti and sabji is good, especially chicken kadia is also good.. tasty masala. Of all the punjabi we visited, only one hotel provided onions, butter and lemon with serving. Morning parathas are maida made, and huge. I tried fried rice also, chicken ans veg-schezwan, both are spicy than regular ones u get.
Price is worth it the food, u wont regret. Better for family than budjet bachelors. Don't rate bad for the ambience, they serve you well than show- off. I don't know why I'm writing so long, but i felt this restaurant should...
